Avengers Call Sheet Confirms "Leviathan" Is Definitely A CG Creation

I have been sent some pics of yesterday's call sheet for the final day of The Avengers shoot and they confirm that whatever The Leviathan is, it is most definitely not a camera! There are also some more scene details so SPOILER warning..

I have cropped the most interesting of the call sheet pages and as you can see they finally confirm that the mo-cap guys battling The Avengers are indeed some kind of aliens. I know, we knew that! But this is the first time we see it in black and white. The second pic also confirms that the Leviathan will be Computer generated. Looking at the corresponding scene details on The Quinjet crashing and the "alien hits" I'm sticking with my original theory that it will be the alien ship and not some type of giant creature, but you never know.

Just in case you were curious, here are the results of yesterday's poll which asked what you guys thought the Leviathan might be.



Seems the vast majority of you think (or is that just hope?) that it will be Fin Fang Foom. Huge thanks to Patricia for sending on the images. Follow her on Twitter to give her some love.

Oh well, there goes the camera theory! I still don't think it's a giant creature though...2012 needs to hurry the hell up so we can find out! :)

I doubt it will be a sea creature. For the 'main weapon' of an army, it wouldn't be very smart to have something that is not even able to get on land.

Still, I wouldn't completely rule it out though. "Leviathan" is normally associated with a sea creature. I really don't know. Puzzeled.

Ah ok. Well it's just some sort of alien ship. It's not going to be an organic creature. Maybe a mechanical creature but not some find fang foom monster.

Could also maybe be a big Atlantean creature. Which would set up Namor as a villain in Avengers 2, which would be actually pretty faithful to the original Avengers comics.

It's gotta be a ship, they mention alien gunfire and the crashed quinjet so the leviathon ship probably shot it down... As for the head, it ciuld just be the design of the ship that makes it look like a creature

I bet it's an Alien ship, that can go on land, in water, in air, and space. AND RESEMBLES Fin Fang Foom..kind of mixing it all together. Think megazords..but a little more organic looking..biomechanical in a sense.

It seems to me that it could perhaps be a creature that is summoned by the alien race in the movie as their last option in trying to defeat the avengers, but apparently it has failed since it's head comes to rest on the streets. ;)

Ha. Thank you. How many times did I (and several others) try to point out that a camera's head doesn't come to rest anywhere. I hope its a monster, but it could be a monster shaped ship. Or else a hoax (which I am started to doubt).

I don't think its Hulk. It can't be the HYDRA-like group. The call sheet says something's head needs to come to rest. They wouldn't put that for Hulk. It is gotta be HUGE for them to put where the head comes to rest.

"CG leviathan, CG quinjet, CG quinjet crashes" "head of leviathan cones to rest..." Could it mean: Leviathan apear (whatever it is), quinjet comes flying and crashing into and decapitating the Leviathan. Quinjet crashes and the head of the unknown falls and land on the street?
Could it be some kind if huge mech? Head falls of and body still standing?

1)It could be a giant ship but I am betting on a giant monster
2)Its not code for the Hulk because all the superhero codes are just their initials..."CA" shield,"HE" bow/quiver...and Hulks code for this sheet is "H"
3) Call sheets are for everyone who shows up for work. Most of the crew can use a call sheet as proof that they worked on a project.

leviathen gathered all there alain weapons after the fall of hydra after the loss or red skull, dont forget also they have to somehow tie in to iron man 3

@ JLA2014,

I am just curious...what's your beef with the Avengers movie? I can understand when someone doesn't like something about the movie, but you seem to be actually hoping that this movie fails and be delighted about any possibly negative thing on it. Why? What did the Avengers did to you to hate it so?

obviously leviathan is movie name for fin fang foom
finfangfoom is alien race, and they will it will tied to kree-skrull

this will be major set up for mandarin in IM3 (mandarin rings comes from finfangfom's alien race)

Btw, I think that whatever it is, is going to be awesome. I highly doubt that after years of planning and all the money spent, Marvel would drop the ball with The Avengers. It would be crazy.

My god..... JUST BECAUSE it's a sea creature does not mean it will be immobile on land!! Godzilla was a sea monster for [frick]s sake!! So was the Cloverfield monster.
