We have seen a few blurry set vids, but this is the first proper glimpse we have had at the actress looking fairly aged up as Superman's Mommy. Updated with some interesting info on Martha's other half..

Just the one pic for now unfortunately, but you can see that the usually gorgeous miss Lane has been significantly "de-glammed" to play Clark Kent's Earthly Mother Martha. There were some fan concerns that the actress would appear too young to play the character initially. Of course this pic isn't a close up but hopefully some more detailed images will filter through at some point.
This pic was taken back on the Plano set, doubling for Smallville. Zack Snyder's reboot is currently shooting in Chicago where the Metropolis scenes will be filmed. Keep an eye on CBM for more recent pics as the Man Of Steel production continues.
UPDATE: Here is some info I didn't feel warranted it's own article but makes for an interesting addition. Apparently Kevin Costner, who plays Jonathan Kent, was spotted on the Chicago set..
Alright so here's an update. The filming is taking place right now as I write this in the Sears Tower. I confirmed this with two of the security guards and a crew member who was taking food inside of the Tower. Looks like there filming it on lower floors of the building! I didnt get a visual of him,but Kevin Kostner has been spotted several times.
It was widely assumed that Jonathan Kent kicks the bucket in Smallville, and that is certainly in keeping with most version of the mythology. Seems that Zack Snyder is altering that slightly.
Thanks to the guys at the MOS Facebook page for the pic and info.
Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel also stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Julia Ormond, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni and Harry Lennix and is scheduled to hit theaters June 14 2013.
