Joseph Gordon Levitt On TDKR: "We Are Not Just Doing It For A Paycheck"
Because of the mystery surrounding his character JGL has been pretty cagey when discussing his work on Christopher Nolan's Batman threequel. But he is at least willing to talk about how he and his colleagues feel about working on the movie..

Nothing revealing here but before his appearance at the Ohio Union on Monday Joseph Gordon Levitt discussed various things with The Lantern. Most of it was to do with his collaborative website hitRECord.org but Levitt also shared a little on his experiences working on The Dark Knight Rises, suggesting that everyone is very passionate and determined to make the best movie possible. As we know Levitt will be working with a few old cast-mates from Christopher Nolan's Inception; Tom Hardy and Marion Cotillard..
Working with the same people on both movies creates a familial atmosphere, Gordon-Levitt said.
"Everyone (on set) is really excited about what we're making ‘cause everyone knows we're making something good," Gordon-Levitt said. "We're not just doing it for a paycheck, we're not just punching the clock, everyone really cares about the movie, and that always makes it way more fun to do."
Obviously he didn't say peep about his character John Blake! So far all we know is that he is a GCPD officer in Jim Gordon's squad, but because of Levitt's high profile and relative lack of information aside from that many think he will turn out to be more than he seems. Perhaps a more familiar character from Batman mythology. Personally, I think he is John Blake, Gotham City cop. But we shall see.
