thor could have been wearing his helmet inside shield headquartwers only for speaking parts and that would satisfy the fans.

whoever or whatever parties responsible for not inserting thor's helmet as a vital part of his costume in the avengers movie does not possess enough knowledge of the marvel character.

@Defender a little dramatic dont ya think ? lol Im a long time Thor fan too, and yes I would like to see the helmet, but I am SOHAPPY that they have someone to play him that not only LOOKS the part but can reflect the character I know him as in the comics. Heck they even made Thor into a badass so im not complaining. They got the character right,so what if he doesn't have his helmet. THe character himself is more important.

Now i could understand you if he didn't have a cape or Mjolnir but alas he does!

How does anyone know that we won't see Thor in the helmet? In the solo flick we only got like 10 seconds of it.. I'm sure we'll see it.. As far as Hemsworth & Hiddleston I think they were both perfectly cast..

Tom Hiddleston is great as Loki, and in interviews he always seems to be one of the few guys that knows what he's talking about; like he really gets the character.

I agree and actually his character seems like he has more depth to it then the others, that just shows the actor is a great actor who takes it serious in every role he does. Isn't he an English man and a shakespearean actor? and that's why Kenneth Branagh hired him.

it looks like a ballet... why is loki wasting his time with cap? the god fought his god brother and barely lost, now he's receiving a bit of "sweet chin music" from a drugged up human. this is the only problem i have with the avengers, and justice league. thor takes down the destroyer in 2 minutes, iron man takes down an army of battlesuits like his own and two other massive robots, the hulk is hard fought to beat his equivalent, but when the alien invaders arrive, they stand along side a man with a shield, a woman with a pistol and another man with a bow. and they'll each take on an alien and have to beat them. there is no match between thor and cap. one lightning bolt and cap is worse off than when he's assassinated with a mere bullet. iron man too, he'd crush hawkeye and black widow if he wanted to, and then there is the hulk who would smash them all. and yet, down on the street as friends they're all equally capable. it's like having batman and superman fight along side one another: superman has lazer vision, strength and speed batman couldn't even dream of, is impenetrable, charged by the sun, has flight and ice breath. if i were superman, i'd tell bruce wayne to stand back and to not throw any more gadgets and bombs at the enemy that requires superman to fight in the first place. for instance, bane vs superman. a 2 second fight, if you compare bane to doomsday, mogul, metallo and darkseid. yet batman is broken by him. for a justice league to work, superman would have to be leveled down to give the other's like batman good reason for a cameo. okay batman has resources, but superman has super hearing and x-ray vision for the detective work. batman would feel utterly useless around him - especially in a nolanesque film. and then he'd also have to partner up with someone that is so fast he could kill bruce before he saw him coming. and a woman that would lasso his head right off, and a martian that could posses him, a volatile hawkman with flight, super strength and a weapon. also a guardian of the galaxy in green lantern, who could make a batmobile with is ring. the closest to batman is green arrow. just like the closest to black widow is hawkeye, who's pistol and bow don't even match captain america's shield let alone stark's armoured suit, the might of a god, and the monstrosity that is hulk. never-the-less, the appeal is awesome and i cannot wait to see the action.

FOXPAW, Hulk wouldn't beat Thor. Hulk is still a human and Thor is a god. Even in the comics Hulk couldn't beat Thor, it usually ended up in draws most of the time.
