VIDEO: THE STAR WARS THAT I USED TO KNOW Gotye Parody

If you haven't heard "Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye yet, you must be living under a rock. It's actually a nice tune, but WAY overplayed. Well now we have this hilarious Star Wars themed parody for your viewing pleasure..

The lads at Teddy Films have put together this very impressive parody of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know", and added a Star Wars twist. Have a look at a heartbroken Anakin Skywalker bemoaning the loss of his beloved space saga after George Lucas shat out the prequels..

The 1st 2 movies were really something special, the series and really nosedived with return of the Jedi, and then reached new depths with the prequels. I won't even get into the odd way he started changing the older films. Let's just say greed is a terrible thing.

The prequels suck, get over it you D-ck.

The clone wars is a great show, I say lucas has fixed the prequels with it. Anakin's character alone makes the show, I cant watch the movies anymore because of how lame haden is compared to matt lanters anakin in the clone wars.

Have you even watched the show all the way through?

Assuming that MOST people do not watch the show and only watch the movies, their opinion will be formed on the movies. In other words, I couldn't care less about any star wars books, graphic novels, tv shows, musicals or whatever, what matters is the movies. The movies themselves suffered from undeveloped characters, meaningless action sequences, the characters themselves were literally just stupid people because every single action or line of dialogue made no sense.

I could go into greater detail, but I will not waist my precious time bitching and moaning about the movies.

@ DCwanabe You say Lucas "fixed" the prequels with the tv series? Uh, ok. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Because it's your OPINION. You can't watch the movies because their Anakin is inferior to the shows voice actor? Won't argue. Because it's your OPINION. Another opinion is that Episodes 1-3 are inferior to 4-6, in large part, due to the Anakins sucking donkey balls in comparison to David Prowse and James Earl Jones. And finally, "Have you even watched the show all the way through?" Well, I've seen all but the 5th season. If the point you're trying to make is that, " You have to watch five seasons of a tv show to make three movies not suck so bad", then I'll go ahead and disagree with you. But that's just my OPINION. Also, you either spelled 'wannabe' wrong or 'wasabi' wrong.

About the parody: pretty sweet. It also happens to capture everything i hate about the alterations to the first trilogy and the second trilogy, in general.
