Mackenzie Crook & Tara Fitzgerald To Join GAME OF THRONES Season 3?

The rumor mill has tossed out a couple of possible cast additions ahead of the GOT panel at Comic-Con. If true, the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor would play Vargo Hoat, while Fitzgerald would play Selyse Florent..

Game Of Thrones resumes filming for its third season this month in Belfast, and we have a couple of new names that might be joining them: British actors Mackenzie Crook - who most American fans will know from the Pirates Of The Carribean movies, and most Brit fans from tv's The Office - and Tara Fitzgerald (Brassed Off, Rancid Aliminium).



According to IFTN..

Crook, best known for his role as Gareth Keenan in ‘The Office’, is reportedly set to play Vargo ‘The Goat’ Hoat in the HBO series, while Fitzgerald, a regular on BBC series ‘Waking the Dead’, is rumoured to play Selyse Florent, the wife of Stannis Baratheon, played by Stephen Dillane ).


Representatives of both Crook and Fitzgerald were unable to comment on the casting news, but it is expected all will be revealed when the casting announcements are made official at Comic-Con in California on Friday July 13.

I think they might be talking bout UK The Office not US version.

Does anyone know the exact day Season 3 will start? It just seems so far away.......

I only ever talk about the UK version, the US version has been milked dry and pales in comparison

@Grif and @Suspense-whatever. Have you even watched it? Yeah, there's some sex and nudity in it, but NOTHING like Spartacus. The sex and nudity in Game of Thrones serves the story and isn't used to get people to watch the show! Don't get me wrong, I loved all seasons of Spartacus, but with that show it was obvious why it was filled with sex, and gore.

Oh, and Game of Thrones has very few episodes where sex and nudity play into the show. Spartacus, on the other hand, had it in damn near every episode.

Sweet, I wonder who are they going to get to play Ramsay Snow. If you haven't read the books that guy makes Joffrey look like a freaking Angel if compare the two.
