cant get into this show for the life of me. My girlfriend loves it though.

Really? Not Tyrion's witty insults or clever plans or even the several different story lines that are going on all at once but in due time all will intersect, maybe interest you? I can go on because I love the show but as I always say..."To each his own" so fair enough if you don't like it.

Really looking forward to season 3 as long as they stick closer to the book and take less creative liberties (HBO format allowing).

Season 2 was a disappointment for me (admitedly, the book ACOK is inferior to AGOT in my opinion so the source material was not as good).

Season 1 was absolutely fantastic though.

A Storm of Swords is the best book in the series so far though so hopefully season 3 and 4 is fantastic.
