IMO TDKR was the Return of the Jedi of the Nolan Bat trilogy. A good flick, but disappointing compared to the much superior previous installment (TDK).

Anyhoo, before the BS starts, I'm gonna get out the booze.

RorMachine - 12/23/2012, 1:24 PM

orpheus - 12/23/2012, 1:25 PM
I'm contributing my opinion as if anyone cares or as if it might influence anyone's opinion on the movie!!
NerdyGeek - 12/23/2012, 1:25 PM
How desperate, smh!

Who do WB think they are? Like, really...?

Pushing for a movie mostly liked by the critics and audiences, smh, what a joke.

The movie had too many plot-holes, so many that I have to space every sentence into a single paragraph, smh.

There were so many plot holes, like Selina Kyle's lipstick not being red enough...

I think we should all just admit TDKR was the worst movie of all-time, worse than The Room, worse than Birdemic: Shock and Terror, worse than Felix the Cat: The Movie... admit it... LOL

Darth258 - 12/23/2012, 1:31 PM
@Wildaniel: "TDKR on ice".
95 - 12/23/2012, 1:31 PM
Wally Pfister will win. I'm hoping it gets recognized for its practical VFX, too.
LP4 - 12/23/2012, 1:32 PM
God dammit how many of these [frick]ing things are they going to release??!
Darth258 - 12/23/2012, 1:33 PM
@MistressDeath: Pretty much once a day.

Still don't get if common people have some involvement in the choice of the nominees. (I'm not american so i don't have a clue how it works)
Darth258 - 12/23/2012, 1:35 PM
@95: "practical VFX" involves those wires pulling up Batman during the backbreaker too?
Wildaniel - 12/23/2012, 1:35 PM
@Darth258

TDKR on ice, thats something I would love to see! Batman vs Bane on ice skates would be epic.
Darth258 - 12/23/2012, 1:35 PM
@Tea: whoa :O
Darth258 - 12/23/2012, 1:39 PM
@Wildaniel: haha yeah, it'd be sure more and better choreographed than the movie.
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 12/23/2012, 1:39 PM
Stop shoving these in our faces WB, soo [frick]ing desperate. How dare you release more of this shit and force me to click on these articles to bitch even more about it.

Desperate desperate morons, Lincoln hasn't released a consideration poster but tdkr has released 500 in the past 3 weeks, smh, the entire campaign is a PLOTHOLE.

Smh
Smh

How do you fit that much realism in an ibook? PLOTHOLE!!! The ibook should be a real book if Nolan wants realism, [frick]ING PLOTHOLE!!!

@NerdyGeek

smh smh smh

@Darth258 pffft, nomination? more like a razzie :P
95 - 12/23/2012, 1:58 PM
@Darth258 Yeah. Don't forget to mention the men dangling from a C-130 and then onto a fuselage which was later dropped (without the use of CGI). Yeah, that VFX. Your point is?
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 12/23/2012, 1:59 PM
Everyone needs to stroke their heads fom time to time, i do it all the time - in the bathroom, the living room, the waiting room, in the bar, church during confession with Priest Tuchme ... it's very very relaxing.
saidgb2 - 12/23/2012, 2:02 PM
Hey, i noticed a lot of people are using the word 'plothole' a lot, like other movies dont have them.
Even the plotholes they pick out are not really that,
just a couple of nitpicks and things that - with a
little thinking - can be explained easily.
But i just can't remember when or why 'plothole' became so associated with this movie. Anybody care to explain?
Nomis1800 - 12/23/2012, 2:02 PM
Absolutely fantastic film!!!! One of the best trilogies out there!!!
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 12/23/2012, 2:12 PM
lmfao @teabag no one beats you.

I was called a plothole once :( she said it was like throwing a hotdog into a hallway... no effect and ruins the experience.
silverdog - 12/23/2012, 2:15 PM
my god.. just buy the goddamn oscar already if you are so desperate for approval or need it to keep the delusion that everything nolan does is perfect and oscar-worthy.
NerdyGeek - 12/23/2012, 2:29 PM
Avengers12:

Worse than Batman and Robin?

NerdyGeek - 12/23/2012, 2:29 PM
I have very little hope for a JLA movie... seriously.
NerdyGeek - 12/23/2012, 2:32 PM
It's obvious Avengers12 is Marvelite.
NerdyGeek - 12/23/2012, 2:33 PM
Well, I'm out, see you guys later. I'm heading over to SHH for the night. Have a Merry Christmas!
NerdyGeek - 12/23/2012, 2:34 PM
Sure it was. Okay, bye!
