COMICS: New Artist Boards THUNDERBOLTS In March; Punisher And Elektra To Hook Up

It's been confirmed that Phil Noto — recently of Uncanny X-Force - will take over art duties from Steve Dillon on Daniel Way's Thunderbolts, and it seems he'll be drawing a bit of antihero-on-antihero action right off the bat. Check out the teaser pic..

Thunderbolts hasn't been the most successful of the Marvel NOW! titles so far, but it has shown potential. Will a new artist in the form of Phil Noto reinvigorate things? He's certainly reinvigorated Frank Castle anyway. Go on my son!..



Like the pic says, you'll have to wait until March to see where this goes in issue #7 of Thunderbolts.

Glad to see a new artist. I liked Dillon's work on Welcome Back Frank and other Punisher only stories but his work on drawing Hulks is shat! Thunderbolts should have some grit to it. Bout time Ol' Frank got some non-hooker nookie.

I'm really excited that Phil Noto is taking over the art. I don't want to hate on Steve Dillon, but I'm not a fan of his art for superheros. Phil Noto's art looks amazing. Mid-century modern from the 1960's sort of Mad Men.
