Trailer For THE LAST EXORCISM PART 2 Debuts

We're all out of superhero trailers for a while, but we do have this one for an upcoming horror sequel. Aside from a weak ending, The Last Exorcism was a surprisingly effective little flick, with an excellent performance from Ashley Bell. Can the sequel match up?..

In the continuing story, Nell Sweetzer is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. When she returns to the relative safety of New Orleans, Nell finds that she can't remember large portions of the previous months, but she does know that she is the last surviving member of her family. As Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her comes back with terrible new plans for her, meaning that her last exorcism was just the beginning.

Poster looks actually pretty ace.
Never saw the first film, and to be honest the only thing I'm interested about this is how can their be sequel to a final exorcism....although if it's a part 2 I'm guessing it's a bigger story than a simple exorcism...

the first one was horrible. i left early and got my money back, went home and read the rest on wikipedia haha though i do like how the footage from the first one found its way to the internet and they use that in this so maybe this will be interesting.

The first one sucked up until the end. The end was good. I'm guessing they couldn't figure out how to incorporate the home movie schtick and decided to take it in a different direction. No arm in that. It's not like the first one was unique or anything. It was capitalizing on Paranormal Activity.

From the Producers of Final Fight 6 Final Fantasy 14 and The Last Dragon part 2.... This one looks fun. Glad they dropped the found footage shit.

I didn't find the first one scary at all just like most horror movies I laugh when watching them but one of the best ones I have seen was the exorcism of Emily rose, that movie creeped me out big time.

I'm kinda disappointed that they won't continue the mockumentary style... :/

The word "last" is referring to the priest's last exorcism in the first film. Doesn't mean there won't be many others by different priests ;)

I really like Ashley Bell for some reason. She looks crazy even when she's not trying to. I've watched a couple interviews with her and she kinda freaked me out. Hope she's not a bunny boiler. I'd totally bang her.

Why do shitty films like The Last Exorcism get sequels while good films get lost in the lurch, and never get made? Ugh, I hate Hollywood sometimes! Hope this bombs, and they stop the insanity! If you haven't seen the first one, please, I implore you, do not waste your time!

I enjoyed the last one up until the end, hopefully this gives us the rest of the story. Kinda like Paranormal Activity 2 did for part 1.

@SuperDude001: It's called The "Last" Exorcism because it centers around what was supposed to be the last exorcism for the lead character. He was an admitted snake oil salesman & decided to have his last one filmed to expose how bogus a practice it is. Then real shit starts going down.

Loved loved loved that movie. Had a rock n roll ending too. I admit I don't like this trailer, but Eli Roth is still producing & the director has some acclaim to back him.
