While promoting her new movie Afternoon Delight at Sundance, Juno Temple - sporting bright red locks, which prompts Collider to ask if she auditioned for Mary Jane in TASM sequel - offered up some info on her role in Robert Rodriguez' Sin City sequel. Unfortunately she doesn't say which character she's playing, but she does reveal that she shares a scene with Ray Liotta, who she is full of praise for. “I just did a part in Sin City 2. I got to do a scene with Ray Liotta," says Temple. "Amazing man, extraordinary gentleman who was just so kind to me… I’m so excited about that, I think it’s gonna be very cool.” The actress also recalls turning up on set for The Dark Knight Rises and being gobsmacked by the sheer scale of the production. Here is the brief video interview so you can hear what she has to say in full..

Who was she in TDKR? I don't even remember her.

She is the second St. Trinian's "alumni" to work with Nolan. Kinda weird how so many of them went on to do CBMs/big budget blockbusters.

@imadick agree with everything you say, especially how easy it is for most people to just write off Tarantino's movies as 'over the top action movies' when in reality, there's a huge amount of substance and they're very multi-layered films. QT's an incredibly smart man, in fact he's a genius in the field of filmmaking, and knows how to deliver on every level of a production.
jimoakley666 - 1/29/2013, 7:54 AM
@ima- QT made two great films, then a truly amazing one called Jackie Brown. That film was beautiful. It flopped for some stupid [frick]ing reason which makes me question the sanity of the general movie going public, and that scared him. Since then he's made rather shallow schlock. I want to see Django and hope against hope that it's great. But seriously, as a non-Nolanite who didn't rate TDKR and preferred The Avengers, I have to say Nolan is in a far superior league to QT. Nolan is a great film maker with a very promising future. Inception and The Dark Knight are two rather brilliant films. Instant classics. Tarantino could have been there with the greats if he hadn't lost his nerve in 1997. Now, that's not to say he's pissed on his chips. He may re-grow his balls again and go for his full potential. I really [frick]ing hope he does. But right now...

The fact that she mentioned Ray Liotta as being a "gentleman" while sharing a scene with him I think it's safe to assume that the scene might be something of a sexual nature.
RorMachine - 1/29/2013, 9:06 AM
Exactly, you'd think the guy said he thought Michael Bay was one of the best directors working today! This vilification of Nolan fans has become absolutely ridiculous. The man is a [frick]ing great director whether you happen to like/love all or NONE of his films.
