Edward Norton To Cameo In "Iron Man 2"?

Nuke the fridge's regular Marvel scooper has sent them news of a possible big, angry, green cameo in "Iron Man 2"!
Its been speculated on already of course, and many people feel its highly likely since Stark(RDJ) made an appearance in Edward Norton's Incredible Hulk movie. But this is the first solid...well,..rumor..sent from a reliable(at least according to nukethefridge) source that we have seen.

The sites confidential source first reported that Stan Lee will make a brief appearance in the second Iron Man film as Larry King. Now the mysterious scooper is reporting that that Edward Norton will have a possible cameo as both Bruce Banner and the Hulk.

Take it all with a pinch of salt of course!..But wouldn't it be great if this one turned out to be true?

All depends on the contract that Norton signed. He wrote the last Hulk and did not receive a movie credit for it. Don't know if it was his doing or Marvel's. If it was Marvel, then Marvel might have made a breach in contract. We all don't know until we see the documentation that has all the "wet" signatures and dates. Norton did sign up for sequals, but to what extent may to brief apperances and cameos. We just don't know. He's a great asset and hopefully and logically Marvel is embracing him.

this will be awesome but if Hulk is in it im pretty sure it would be an after credits scene as Favreau has already said that Iron Man 2 wont have a cliffhanger leading into The Avengers - so maybe just a teaser? great news either way!!

This is still just a rumor like the whole Wolverine appearing in The Incredible Hulk and that was from a supposidly credible source. Did it happen....um..No it did not. This is all just hear say and everyone should know by now that Marvel is not going to risk something like that leaking out. It would make sense to have him in the film. And the whole (Stark gets help....) doesnt mean that its the Hulk, I mean did everyone forget that War Machine is in this one and Nick Fury....There is a tie in to the Avengers thats no question but, will it be the Hulk? We have to wait and see.

that's funny BillyBlack. lol. ahhhh, that's a great movie. I love it when they're in the bathroom after and Travolta messes up the towel and Sammy yells at him for not cleaning his hands first. lol.

as for the Hulk being in Iron Man 2....Fav said at Comic Con that this movie WON'T lead right into Avengers and that it may even lead into just another Iron Man flick first...And with War Machine now in the mix this seems like too many characters for one movie. Then again - I'd never deny the Hulk screentime. Hulk make movie better.

Bruce Banner will be present during a turmoil situation with most probably, Tony Stark without the IM armor.. since Banner has learned to willingly unleash the Hulk from his system, he will come out to save Tony´s life in the last minute... then The Hulk will get out of the place jumping.. maybe they will exchange a few words but that´s it - cool isn´t it??

On ward to make "SirPrize Piña Coladas".

Here's my recipe...

3cl (one and a half parts) Cachaça (sounds like Cuh-shaw-kuh) Brazilian Rum
3cl (two parts) coconut cream
9cl (2 parts) pineapple juice
1 Scoop of Breyers Slow Churned Vanilla Ice Cream
No Ice Is Needed

Measurements are approximate. But gives ya'll a good idea.

Blend together and viola. I use a Magic Bullet to blend.

I can't wait for this Edward Norton cameo in Iron Man 2. It will be the post-credits scene with Tony walking into his favourite bar to get drunk (as usual) and after an hour he will singing plenty of Black Sabbath (very badly might I add) and charming women into bed by just saying the words "I am Iron Man". Suddenly, Bruce runs into the bar and shouts for Tony saying we got big problems, the ultimate evil has arrived. They both run out to find the worst thing known to mankind, RYAN REYNOLDS! This leads into the Avengers where Ryan is trying to take everybody's else role in the movie and Stan Lee has to fight him or the whole world will become a race of Ryankind!

Or on the other hand, it could just be Bruce meeting Tony about the Avengers.

Bruce: sup dawg, wanna make a superhero team and fight evil and stuff. Im good fun when Im angry.

Tony: Sure my green giant, Im bored with fighting Mickey Rourke. Whos directing our movie?

Bruce: Its gonna be McG, Brett Ratner or Michael Bay

Tony: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! (Cue Demon in a Bottle storyline as a reaction to this news)

You know, this makes some sense. Notice how much they've downplayed the Hulk stuff so far? Even going so far as to make us question if he'll be in avengers (which is ridiculous, marvel makes 4 big superhero movies, why wouldn't they put all 4 guys on the team?). I think I definitely believe he'll be in it as Banner, as Hulk would be even better but I wonder if they'd go that far.

The movie timeline still doesn't make sense to me. In the beginning of Ironman 2 we know Stark says that he wants nothing to do the team Fury is putting together, but at the end of Hulk he tells General Ross that they are putting a team together.

Meaning that the movie timeline thus far would be: Ironman -> Ironman 2 -> Hulk?

Does this make sense to anybody else or am I just speculating too much?

@ WulfComicFan--You triggered something in my brain. I just wanted to say FYI for those who like Super Hero Trivia. When The Incredible Hulk TV series was in production the creators thought having the name Bruce Banner sounded too "Gay", so they changed the name from Bruce Banner to David Banner. I will have to find where I remember this source is from so I can cite it for you. I wanted them to stay true to the book but the series was still good even with the name change.

If edward norton ends up being in iron man 2 playing both hulk and edward norton ... it would definatly set up either the avengers film or possibly captain america .. plus I think a fight scene showing iron man and hulk vs another villan would be sooooooo goood ... but i dont think there will be a villian big and strong enough in iron man 2 that would require hulk to help out ... unless like iron man is just about to die or something and hulk jumps in to save the day :D but then again, is that not what war machine is all about???
