OUt of all the great Joker scenes, you pick the one that means the least or has the least impact on the film. its not even the best Joker shot of that scene.

Not the best Joker scene in the movie by far. I call shenanigans on this poll.

Should've been the showdown with Batman where his truck gets flipped. Either that or the pencil trick scene.

It should have been the last dialogue the Joker gives in TDK when Batman has him hanging upside down and reveals his plan to destroy Harvey and therefor destroy Gotham's spirit. But him hanging out of a car... sure... that has the same emotion as "A Fathers Mercy" from the Hulk or Dr. Manhattan's origin from Watchmen. This site sometimes baffles me with what it considers to be "great".

I voted the opening credits in Watchmen but Comedians death, Rorschach end dialogue and the revelation of the villain were way better scenes

Dude, I also vote the Superman helicopter scene. How can that NOT be on here? It still gives me goosebumps with its spectacular imagery and stirring soundtrack by Williams. As for Watchmen, Rorshach telling the prisoner "I'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with ME!" Or you could just say Dark Knight in its entirety. Same goes for Iron Man I.

The only dang reason I watch X2 is for that one scene. If Nightcrawler did a little more during the rest of the film maybe it would've been better. Needed Sentinels.

From this list, Dr. Manhattan's origin story. Watchmen opening credits is a close second. Gotta say though, superman vs. clark kent in the junkyard should most certainly be on this list. As should a few scenes from batman with jack.

Joker telling various origin stories or the interrogation scene should be on the list. Given what is on the list the Argentina bar scene was the best simply because it was so well acted. Could have been in inglorious basturds.

Superman sucks. There's more thought and time put into that Spider-man vs Doc Ock seen than any other one on the list. It's drenched with pure comic book action.

I like them all, but something about that Watchmen opening sequence just gets to me. If that wasn't on the list I probably would hae gone with the Joker or Nightcrawler in the White House.

You have a few good choices on here, and then a bunch of random ones like The Hulk one lol. You got Nightcrawler's scene, and a lot of good Watchmen parts, Spidey vs Doc train fight, but... where are the others? Where is Wolverine's scene where he stabbs the guy into the fridge all pissed off, that has to be one of the thee most bad ass scenes in a cbm. Like others have mentioned, where is Blade's opening scene? Where is all the really good Dark Knight/Batman Begins/Batman 1989 scenes? There should be like 10 or so just from those lol. "Where are you!?" "Here." Yeah. See my point?

Hell, even the first Transformers had a really good opening scene when Blackout takes out the ENTIRE U.S. Military base and it's just pure chaos for a minute lol.

I has to be Spidey. The Nightcrawler scene is great, and The Dark Kinght is the best CBM of all, but that train scene can't be beat.

Not even the best Joker scene in TDK. WTF?! Comedian's funeral was sooooo much better. Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence" way more poignant than the opening Dylan song. No Iron Man scene? C'mon!! No Blade?? C'mon!! The Reeve Superman is a classic but really?? When Iron Man goes back to Afghanistan is better than any scene from any Reeve Superman movie!! I don't care when what was made. That scene in Iron Man is straight out of a comic book!!

By the way, the Nightcrawler scene...

oh yeah...we're talkin about CBMs, right..not just CB SUPER HERO Movies?

then..it'll be:

- The Spider-Man 2's train fight
- After credit Iron Man/Nick Fury's first encounter
- Viggo's character incapacitates the goons, in front of his house, ending with his son killing Ed Harris' gangster character
- Gerard Butler's Leonidas shouting YOU'RE IN SPARTA!!!
- Watchmen's opening scene
- Nightcrawler's attack on the white house
- the mutant showdown in X-Men: The Last Stand
- MJ and Peter "spider kissing", in the FIRST spidey flick (ICONIC)
- Clark showing the 'S' before fiding a place to change costumes and rescuing Lois and the chopper
- Whiplash ambushing Tony at the race track
- Batman chasing on his BatPOD...so cool...

I loved the opening to watchmen. I also agree about supermans helecoptor scene. But what about Burtons Batman opening on the roof scene? By far my favorite scene. Gave me goosebumps as a kid. As cool as Nolans BAtman begins the new movies are yet to impact me like that.
Found Ledger a little corny personally, but to each their own.

Of the scenes listed to choose from, the only real options are Nightcrawler and the opening to Watchmen, with the Joker scene and spiderman getting honorable mentions. But the Father's Mercy Hulk scene?!? WTF??? And why is Christopher Reeve catching the helicopter not in here? Or Iron Man with the jets???! C'mon Ror!

The Nightcrawler scene to me was the FIRST AND ONLY time Singer actually got something right. Taken in that context, it was SO refreshing to see the character from the comic books actually come to life just for that brief time, that I consider it my favorite comic book scene so far. I think the fact that EVERYTHING surrounding that scene was such SHIT makes me like it more. It was like a lonely oasis of goodness in the middle of a desert of dogshit. I don't see how some of those other scenes made the list. You should ask people to submit their favorite scenes first and then compile your list because I doubt some of those are anyones favorite scenes. A for effort though.

Plus, I know everyone hates Superman Returns, but the plane rescue was pretty [frick]ing awesome. That was some classic Superman right there. Should be listed. Or what about when the bullet impacts with his [frick]ING EYEBALL AND HE DOESN"T EVEN BLINK!! If you don't think that was one of the best scenes ever than I don't ever want to go to the movies with you.

I've always loved Wolverines debut in the first X-Men movie. I really like the scene in Iron Man when Tony gets to the run down village/shanty town and blows up the tank. I get chills when I see him land and then what follows. Great scene right dar!

I do agree that the Joker police car scene is amazingly beautiful, so it got my vote. However, my favorite scene (Superman Returns Plane Rescue) is missing from the poll. You should have just made the list longer.

As far as The Dark Knight goes, how about the street showdown with Batman and the Joker? The 18 wheeler flip?

Why is a scene from the Bana Hulk in this selection. THAT MOVIE SUCKED!! I voted for the Dr. Oct vs Spidey scene because more people were in dange in that fight than Hulk vs Adbomination. I liked the Nightcrawler scene too. But Oct vs Spidey looks more like it is straight from the comic. Hulk vs Adbmonation does too but not as much people are in danger.

A lot of great scenes are missing in this poll : the batmobile chase from the first Batman (1989), Spider-Man vs the Green Goblin, the plane scene from Superman Returns, etc etc

Anyway, "Opening Credits From Watchmen" is an amazing scene.
