Poll Question: Which villain do you think will feature in Iron Man 3?

This would be like trying to write a Batman trilogy without him ever fighting the Joker. Mandarin has to fight Iron Man. He created Iron Man, ergo Iron Man must defeat him.

I would love to see Mandarin, but The Ghost would be my second choice.

Madame Masque and Ghost would be awesome with Mandarin playing the elusive "Emperor Palpatine type" role

Due to Iron Man's lame rogue's gallery it will be the Armor Wars. He will fight Beetle, Porcupine, Stiltman, etc.

Didn't I read on this site a couple months back that the director didn't like the Mandarin and said he was a racist stereotype. I know it won't be Mandarin.

I still think it's Mandarin but his powers will be based off of advanced alien technology (think the movie version of Thor) so it will appear as if it's magic (or the Mandarin will interpret it as Magic without understanding where the rings come from).

You can make Mandarin a character without him being a caricature.

Since the Avengers villain is Loki, Thor's nemesis, maybe Mandarin should be set up for Avengers 2. Have Mandarin in the background of Iron Man 3 searching for and finding the rings. In Avengers, he could use them to summon Fin Fang Foom (although don't use the name). That seems like enough of a threat to reform the Avengers.

Mandarin needs to make his debut in Iron Man 3. There's no reason not to have him, regardless of what the loser director says. I guarantee he don't even know the meaning of the word racist. Anyway, Mandarin has been set up from the beginning and it would be a shame to have some lesser known villain substituted. Seriously. Whiplash was cool but I feel like he could have been a lot better. Stane was an awesome villain, probably the best developed villain I've ever seen in a comic film, apart from Thor, TIH and Captain America's Red Skull. As long as Mandarin appears in some form, I'll be pleased and I'm sure a lot of other fans would be as well.

I would LOVE Mandarin but I am guessing they will go with Madam Masque & The Ghost. I love both the characters and think they could be easily adapted for film.

really digging for the obscure ones, aren't you, if its not mandarin, i would say crimson dynamo or titanium man, and maybe some weird one like unicorn, living laser, or ghost, mainly because of how obscure whiplash was before ironman 2
