AFTER THAT ONE I'D WATCH MAYBE ONE MORE, MAYBE YOU COULD CALL IT "LAST OF THE TITANS".

GUNSMITH Im with you "BETTER THAN THE FIRST" but that is not saying a whole lot in my opinion but I did get Dizzy during that whole maze scene

It felt so rushed! For example the action scenes (it's only real accomplishment) were over so quickly (the minotaur) and the story, Hades "I hate you...(minutes later)...i forgive you".

The element of fire doesn't seem to effect anyone....hot Trident, digging through the hot embers, wave of lava and explosion that Perseus and Pegasus fly through (not even singed hair).

The list goes on....very disappointed! A boy (probably aged 12), a few seats in front of me summed it up perfectly half way through yelling "I'm bored....I'm tired".

CGI was pretty good, liked the lead actors but the story was lacking. The battle with Kronos was a huge let down.

nodded off a little during the first 15-20 minutes but the movie picked up it's pace and the visuals and action stepped up. Better than Clash and a decent popcorn flick. I could at least sit thru this again as opposed to Ghost Rider--which made me want to wash my eyes out with The Avengers trailer on a repeat loop.
Off topic--anyone else got passes for next week Avengers screening in NYC ? I'll be the chick in the Cap tshirt and red hair in a ponytail with a Yankee hat.

I enjoyed the movie. Not as bad as everything made it too be. My four year old sat through it so its worth something lol.

Wow right off the bat the dialogue was horrible and this is not what I expected for a Greek mythology movie. There killing the Greek mythology by not respecting the source material, I know that the original clash of the titans is not the same as the real Greek mythology story but at least when your doing a Greek mythology movie do it right. Hades isn't a bad guy IMO and wasn't banished to rule the underworld, they drew who rules what. I'm clad they change hades to a different role and it would have been badass if you see the three brothers kick ass instead of two.

Overall I did enjoy the movie and wish there were more of the gods in the movie, also I believe if this director did the first one it would have been better and much laid out for a better story for the 2nd. He did have to work for what he has got. Bring on the next one, I want to see more of this Greek mythology, even if it's butchered. Immortals was butchered, clash is horrible, wrath was descent but butchered and Troy is far better then these but wasn't exact same as the real source material.

Sony better get God Of War moving cause this series well sell huge if it's made.

Only thing missing was Zeus doing a Kamahamaha

The whole movie is about this god building his power, draining it from other gods in the process. Then Perseus kills him in like 2 mins. It felt like a TV episode of Power Rangers. Just like the first movie, you have the Kraken build up and then Perseus comes and knocks him out in the first round, like Tyson.

what i voted on - Pretty enjoyable. Sure could have used a bit more of a story and some of the acting was sub par, but those amazing visuals made up for it.

I'm somewhere between 'pretty enjoyable' and 'wasn't terrible.'

The effects were great and the art design was beautiful, but the story was thin, the dialogue was rather weak, and every character save Perseus, Zues, and Hades felt way underused.

A lot of people don't like Sam Worthington, calling him a bad and/or bland actor. I don't necessarily agree. He has a certain je ne sais quoi about him that makes me like him in these kinds of roles.

Better than the last one and the humour was well placed and helped balance out the action and the story better than the first installment which was humourless!!!
