Bring back Johnny or Danny!!!
Thevenominside - 3/6/2014, 9:20 AM
i object to this shit.
MisterPL - 3/6/2014, 9:21 AM
Still don't like the helmet.

He never wore one when he rode a goddamned motorcycle. Why wear one in a car? Is this Disney's influence? Does he have to buckle up, too? "Safety first, kids!"

Next.
Doopie - 3/6/2014, 9:23 AM
is there a reason he's in a car now or is it just a move to possibly latch on to Fast and Furious popularity?
Dustellar - 3/6/2014, 9:23 AM
@DanteMcFarlane Johnny is in Thunderbolts.
jimoakley666 - 3/6/2014, 9:24 AM
This new Ghost Rider is fuking cool. Really looking forward to reading it. Balls to the whiners.
NicolausCopernicus - 3/6/2014, 9:24 AM
This is BS from Disney to not pay the legal rights to Gary Friedrich
Dustellar - 3/6/2014, 9:25 AM
Felipe Smith draws better than Tradd Moore xD Why he is not the writer and artist of the series?
CosmicLord - 3/6/2014, 9:25 AM
He looks kinda cool in some images (like the second cover).

I still want the original Ghost Rider back though.
Dustellar - 3/6/2014, 9:26 AM
@NicolausCopernicus No! Johhny is in Thunderbolts... sigh
BezierCurve - 3/6/2014, 9:31 AM
Metal as [frick]! That swirling fire business and aggressive gear shifting. Love it.
NebulaFields - 3/6/2014, 9:34 AM
Garbage... next.
VictorHugo - 3/6/2014, 9:35 AM
This is cool!! I approve this!

first a horse, then a 70´s bike, then a 90´s bike then a car! like the evolution of the demon rider.

Next should be a Star Trek ship on demon like warp speed effects.
quasi95 - 3/6/2014, 9:45 AM
Cool shit
You guys need to tighten your grip on old things. What's been done is done
This Ghost Rider looks pretty brutal
Not as brutal as Johnny Blaze an Danny Ketch but still...brutal...
manofsteel1942 - 3/6/2014, 9:51 AM
The pedal hits the crap.
VictorHugo - 3/6/2014, 9:53 AM
Quasi95: nostalgia often prevents us nerds from enjoying new things.
Turkish - 3/6/2014, 9:54 AM
Come on your freakin geeks, its a flaming skull in a muscle car, how is that not the Ghost Ryder!?! Change is good... those who can't adapt will die.... choose the red pill!
Dunejedi - 3/6/2014, 9:58 AM
I dig it. The problem with really stylized art is that the character will look really bland when another artist inevitably takes over.
VictorHugo - 3/6/2014, 10:04 AM
Dunejedi - agreed, not every artist is a Greg Capullo who can draw a hundred issues of a comic, some recent artists get tired and needy and emotional quickly.
Turkish - 3/6/2014, 10:06 AM
Let Matt Wagner, Arthur Adams, Simon Bisley, Greg Greg Rucka, Frank Zeck pencil the Ghost Rider and I best they'd craft a kewl image, heck let Brian Lee O'malley give it a go, I bet they'd all rawk :)
campblood - 3/6/2014, 10:08 AM
meh. went overkill on the fire
VictorHugo - 3/6/2014, 10:09 AM
Turkish - i remember Arthur Adams drawing the Ghost Rider in a few "Fantastic Four" comics.

Todd McFarlane also drew a sick Ghost Rider in a couple of Spiderman issues.
Parkerluckpersonified - 3/6/2014, 10:15 AM
Agree it's awful art, puts me off looking at it. also yeah i don't like the car but whatever, drawn well it may have been cool
Alfredo27 - 3/6/2014, 10:22 AM
Im glad we have a new Ghostrider and he has a diffrent schtick. Loving the knife weilding Mexican Ghostrider. Ghostrider never meant to always be same person.
Nivekian - 3/6/2014, 10:26 AM
So, so stupid. Marvel Editorial... You Drive a Car, you Ride a Motorcycle. Call the character driving a car Ghost Driver, because otherwise... ahhhh, it's not like they give a damn anyway...
vtopa - 3/6/2014, 10:31 AM
What a POS. More watering down classic characters to suck up to teen agers. This is what happens when Disney buys your ass. Total SHIT.
vtopa - 3/6/2014, 10:34 AM
The real ghost rider…

RetroFit - 3/6/2014, 10:45 AM
I hate this crap. Ghost Driver SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OdinsBeard - 3/6/2014, 10:50 AM
looks so bad ass. i love the helmet with the flames coming out from under it.

i consider this redesign/new character a win.
Enphlieuwince - 3/6/2014, 10:50 AM
This looks great. Why complain? If they changed Johnny Blaze to a Latino, you guys would shit a brick. Now, you just won't support a whole new character. Damn shame...
Dustellar - 3/6/2014, 11:00 AM
@vtopa Again... Johnny Blaze aka The real Ghost Rider is in Thunderbolts.
jlabatman - 3/6/2014, 11:19 AM
Not liking the art work or the car!
Melkaticox - 3/6/2014, 11:25 AM
@MisterPL You kinda need to press on another article to see it. Nothing's going to happen if you say "next".

Terrible outfit, terrible vehicle...I'm ok with the...uh, skull? But everything looks pretty...out of place.
Why a car? He's not gonna do much with it unless it can phase. Which I doubt it can.
CorndogBurglar - 3/6/2014, 11:27 AM
Its not about a new character for me. Ghost Rider was never meant to be just one person forever.

The very idea of the character is that Ghost Rider inhabits multiple people throughout time. Moving to someone else is fine.

But goddamn does he look stupid.
thejackwagon94 - 3/6/2014, 11:30 AM
@Dustellar don't worry man, maybe you'll get through in a month or two! The thunderbolts have gotten pretty good.
Shroombeast - 3/6/2014, 1:37 PM
I like the art, but it isn't right for Ghost Rider at all. But that's ok, because this isn't really Ghost Rider...
jimoakley666 - 3/6/2014, 2:10 PM
I wonder how many of these bitches recognise the fact that this Ghost Rider is wearing Johnny Blaze's original riding jacket? Or know that there was another character using the Ghost Rider name before blaze? Or that originally he never had flaming bike wheels etc etc...

Ghost Rider has changed so much over the years. Piss off with your "uh, real Ghost Rider" bullshit.
campblood - 3/6/2014, 8:19 PM
I don't mind the character or the car just to much fire.

and honestly I wish he rode a motorcycle but what evs
quasi95 - 3/6/2014, 8:26 PM
You got that right VictorHugo
reedrichards3636 - 3/7/2014, 1:29 AM
This is gonna suck so bad, that blackholes will be envious of its suckiness!
