So with May reporting to whoever, it leads to them locking up Skye and Coulson. Sounds good to me. I really like where this show is heading. But dammit, I can't wait to find out if the blue guy is Kree!
MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 11:27 AM
1st and 2nd
LEEE777 - 3/25/2014, 11:28 AM
LOVE this show, not as good as ARROW or WALKING DEAD but still an enjoyable series...

Just wish it was more S.H.I.E.L.D than a damn plane of supporting casters, S.H.I.E.L.D is huge!
LEEE777 - 3/25/2014, 11:29 AM
We still doing this 1st shit?

That's so 2010 :p
TheCaptain - 3/25/2014, 11:31 AM
And not a nightnight gun a real gun! Lol.
dougieisrollingthejays - 3/25/2014, 11:33 AM
not sure what to make of this. this show really needs to start closing off with some crazy big stuff
MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 11:34 AM
@LEEE

Just wanted to do it to piss of Pasto...
sKeemAn - 3/25/2014, 11:34 AM
Love this show. It finally hit its turning point geting better and better with each ep. I'm stoked to see which alien the blue guy is, and to find out who the Clairvoyant is as well.
themidnightking - 3/25/2014, 11:35 AM
What will become of this show post Cap?
charlie2094 - 3/25/2014, 11:35 AM
It's on another break?

This show has been nothing but building up to something - loses any sort of momentum it has by disappearing every other week.

So it looks like they're pointing their guns at May? Guess Coulson finds out then, maybe they can use that to get rid of her character
ProfessorX - 3/25/2014, 11:36 AM
This appears to take place immediately after the end of the last episode once *SPOILER* has happened.
ProfessorX - 3/25/2014, 11:37 AM
@Charlie2094: This is the last break. There will be an episode every week for 7 weeks starting April 1st.
Arrowhead77 - 3/25/2014, 11:38 AM
I agree with LEEE777. Well said sir! However, I will be dissapointed is the Skye and Deathlok story lines and character evolutions dont give us true comic characters...
charlie2094 - 3/25/2014, 11:40 AM
@merc

Isn't that blue guy all but confirmed as Kree? He has the same markings on his chest as Ronan does
MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 11:42 AM
@Charlie

Pretty much. It's the best speculation too. Kree are established in the MCU. And it'll likely tie into Quill's origin.
Pasto - 3/25/2014, 11:44 AM
Interesting. I'll have to give it a watch. Best show on TV is The Blacklist.
TheClemster - 3/25/2014, 11:45 AM
Yea Kree makes sense

I can't remember who posted something that completely tied in with AOS

Regarding their abilities
charlie2094 - 3/25/2014, 11:45 AM
@Merc

Would definitely make sense. Not to mention the recent photos showing SHIELD being involved with Guardians of the Galaxy. Hoping it gets revealed this season, but definitely see GotG showing a link as well, whether it be in the actual film or post-credit.
TwistedFact - 3/25/2014, 11:45 AM
I stopped after the first couple of episodes because I just wasn't getting into it. Has AOS improved a lot over the course of the season?
dougieisrollingthejays - 3/25/2014, 11:46 AM
make. her. spider woman
Mastyrwerk - 3/25/2014, 11:47 AM
@LEE777

The entire premise of the show is based on the fringe of the organization. "The Zeppos" if you will.

It's actually a much smarter approach than you think. SHIELD is so massive, it would get boring being in the middle of the bureaucracy and boring crap. If you want an example of what that would really be like, I recommend watching the David Hasselhoff Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD.

By having the focus being on outlying characters, you can experience all the cool stuff about SHIELD without the red tape.

I think it's brilliant.
Pasto - 3/25/2014, 11:47 AM
TwistedFact
NO. But this episode looks promising.
dougieisrollingthejays - 3/25/2014, 11:47 AM
@TwistedFact for as average it started, its a great show. I'd say since episode 8 I think it was it has at least doubled in quality.
charlie2094 - 3/25/2014, 11:48 AM
@Twisted

It's still not great, but has definitely improved around the half way mark. Wouldn't bother watching the first half (mostly disposable weekly events) but definitely worth watching the second half. Think the episode with Blizzard, whichever one that was, was where it started showing signs of improving
Mastyrwerk - 3/25/2014, 11:49 AM
@Twisted

Yes. It has grown exponentially better with each episode. You'll probably want to binge it when it hits Netflix so you can catchup on everything you missed. Shits getting serious now.
MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 11:49 AM
@Twisted

Don't listen to Pasto, he's crazy. Like Jacky crazy. AoS is awesome, plain and simple.
Jarvis21 - 3/25/2014, 11:49 AM
Where is Ward ?
MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 11:51 AM
@Charlie

You can't skip any episodes. You'd miss so much of the Mike Peterson setup, the Centipede, the Clairvoyant. Everything has been intertwined all season. It's just the payoffs that have taken a while.
NoAssemblyReqd - 3/25/2014, 11:51 AM
The show has improved lots, but funny it reached its lowest point creatively with only its second episode "0-8-4." I hope next season they do what LOST did and do long runs without breaks or repeats.

(I think the breaks had to do with the show's visual fx schedule, not to mention the Olympics, *and* lining up the show with THOR:TDW's theatrical and home video releases CAP2 certainly affected things as well.)
Runefyst - 3/25/2014, 11:52 AM
Has episode 16 aired? I thought I was caught up, but I'm pretty sure the last ep I watched was the 15th one.....
Pasto - 3/25/2014, 11:54 AM
I've tried time and again to watch each and every episode with no expectations, every time I get a big 'wah-wah-wah'. So if you want my advice, don't go into the show expecting much, because you aren't going to get anything more than a television program that fills up an hour of your time.
TwistedFact - 3/25/2014, 11:55 AM
Haha thanks guys, I'll definitely check it out when it's on Netflix.
Pasto - 3/25/2014, 11:56 AM
Whatever happened to 'Rising Tide'? Did they forget about that?
Pasto - 3/25/2014, 11:56 AM
TwistedFact
Thata boy.
Jarvis21 - 3/25/2014, 11:58 AM
"Rising Tide" was the organisation of Skye and her boyfriend (episode 5) ^^
Pasto - 3/25/2014, 11:58 AM
But like I said, this episode right here ^, this looks good. Hopefully it won't slap me in the face like every episode before it has.
MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 11:59 AM
@Pasto

Rising Tide was nothing but Skye and her boyfriend. It need when he got arrested and she realized that SHIELD wasn't the bad guy (at the time)
TwistedFact - 3/25/2014, 11:59 AM
At least Marvel seems to have learned a lot from how this show has been received. By the time their Netflix shows air they should have a better idea on how to make them quality.
Mastyrwerk - 3/25/2014, 11:59 AM
One thing I've been really impressed with this show has been the fight choreography. They've been so varied and dirty. The use of super strength in fights has been infinitely better than Arrow, especially in Yes Men. TRACKS had a fantastic close combat fight in a train car. The camera work and lighting has been innovative. Each episode has been distinctively different.
MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 12:00 PM
@Pasto

Every episode? You were singing the praises of TRACKS when it aired...
