Joss Whedon Auctions An AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Set Visit For Charity
Avengers director Joss Whedon looks to give a couple of fans the chance to visit the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron, while supporting a great cause. Whedon donated an exclusive set visit to the Downtown Women’s Centers to be auctioned off during their annual fundraising auction.
Two lucky fans will get the first look at the Avengers: Age of Ultron, courtesy of set tour as the personal guest of writer/director Joss Whedon.
The winning bidders will be shown around the set as the guest of Whedon during filming in London in Spring 2014. The set visit opens for bidding on October 3, 2013 and closes on October 13, 2013 along with the Center’s other online auction items.
Founded in 1978, the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is the only resource in Los Angeles that is exclusively dedicated to serving the unique needs of homeless and very low-income women in Skid Row.
In The Avengers: Age of Ultron Loki is gone and the new villain will be the evil robot Ultron, who has the ability to keep upgrading his own strength, making him extremely fearsome. Tony Stark/Iron Man becomes the unwitting creator of Ultron. The brother-and-sister team of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch become the seventh and eighth members of The Avengers. Quicksilver has extreme speed, while Scarlet Witch can cast spells and has telekinesis ability. Black Widow and Hawkeye will be key figures in the film.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron flies into theaters on May 1, 2015.
