beautiful art,wolverine a great character but he was a bit overused to say the least.
DrDoom - 7/9/2014, 5:06 PM
Wolverine should have died fairly quickly after losing his healing factor given that it was the only thing keeping his adamantium skeleton from killing him . . . .

But you knew that already.

Phronesis - 7/9/2014, 5:07 PM
Love the art, but still against them actually killing him off. They coulda just done a story that isolates him from the world (obviously a lot more complex and fleshed out).

Can someone bring me up to speed about this whole "Death of Wolverine" thing? Why would they kill off such an iconic character? How did his healing factor get removed? Does he want to die? I don't read comics and I don't feel like I need to search it up.
Jollem - 7/9/2014, 5:10 PM
marvel's been pimping iron man in 5 years more than they ever have wolverine in his entirety. funny thing is, wolverine deserves it
JredTheRed - 7/9/2014, 5:12 PM
hasnt this already been posted? ive already seen these....
HavocPrime - 7/9/2014, 5:13 PM
@DrDoom

Beast develops a serum for him on the first issue of Mortal that stops the adamantium killing him, it is taken care of in one line of dialogue and then forgotten about.
DrDoom - 7/9/2014, 5:15 PM
@HavocPrime

That's not deus ex machina levels of convenient, and it also doesn't help that it's pointless given we all know he's going to die . . . .
TheActionAce - 7/9/2014, 5:20 PM
bloody hell Charles Soule is writing this as well, I swear I read his name on a couple of other titles.

How can he handle all these projects, TALENT!!!!!!!
HavocPrime - 7/9/2014, 5:21 PM
@DrDoom

Yeah it is pretty stupid especially since he will be back in a few months, give or take.
marvel72 - 7/9/2014, 5:23 PM
@ jollem

of course they have,wolverine has had three solo books a month in 2014 not including the x-men & the avengers team books & all the other titles he makes the odd appearance in.

you can also add uncanny x-force to the list of teams he has featured on.
DrDoom - 7/9/2014, 5:24 PM
Looking at the synopsis again . . . .

"The greatest X-Men hero"

Cyclops?

Jollem - 7/9/2014, 5:43 PM
wolverine's the shiznit
Enki - 7/9/2014, 5:51 PM
Excellent art.
ATrueHero1987 - 7/9/2014, 6:23 PM
Yea, I'll wait for the TPB.

Speaking of Charles Soule, has anyone read the current Inhuman yet? How is the series so far?
staypuffed - 7/9/2014, 6:25 PM
@ATrueHero1987
It's solid. Art definitely outshines the writing, as the characters and dialogue are kinda meh, but I am still enjoying it.
Doopie - 7/9/2014, 6:50 PM
i kind of feel a bit sad for wolvie
SuperiorMrGod - 7/9/2014, 7:47 PM
Yeah everything DrDoom just said.
SuperiorMrGod - 7/9/2014, 7:52 PM
Especially the Cyclops part. Wolverine isn't even close to the best. Cyclops 1st ,Storm 2nd, and so forth. Thats not based on biase, but rather the comic history. Storm and Cyclops have both lead the team and guided them throughout many conundrums. All Wolverine does as of late is act like a moody bitch.
SuperiorMrGod - 7/9/2014, 7:55 PM
I cringed when I saw him give Gambit shit for leading the thieves guild. Wolverine can be the hugest hypocrite, he goes off on his own all the time and also participates in Avengers missions so that panel alone was the last straw for me.
jimoakley666 - 7/9/2014, 11:53 PM
Sniff sniff...

Trolls.
TelaVizion - 7/10/2014, 3:02 AM
Cyclops has never been "the best", and never will be. Him being a "leader" of a few teams mean nothing when you look at Xavier running everything and still being a piece of shyt throughout X-Men history.

Cyclops has only really now become something of importance after Captain America (one of the biggest assholes in the Marvel Universe) screwed him over during the Phoenix Five event.
