Smallville Season 9 "Midway" Episode Review

Well Smallville sure has kicked things into high gear this year, Zombies,Half Cyborg/Half Human Being,Toyman, Zod and his army of Kandorians and of course Jor-el in person.


I think this season is doing well so far that if they decide to go with a season 10 what do you guys think should happen? I saw that Callum Blue was signed for a 2year contract. I mean we're about to see the wonder twins next week, and also the Justice Society,Member(Star Girl,Dr.Fate,Hawkman etc.) Talk about this being a good year for the ratings.C'mon Zod is the show now, Callum blue is kicking ass as Zod, I think he is. Well this iss what i want to see, Zod at least going at it with Clark, and clark finally 9yrs later he fly's and dons the damn costume, somewhat a red/blue/yellow costume does not have to be the orignal one,

I could see another season, as long as they establish enough characters for 1 or 2 spin-offs.
He should fly, he'll probably fight Zod. This season hassen't let me down yet.

Yeah, I agree...with Spilox. It's been a great season, and I think that Clark's fight with Zod should be where he first flies...a good dramatic event to kick him into high gear.

And there are rumors he'll be in a suit closer to the Superman suit towards the end of this season! That's good news too, my friends.

It's getting better, but I agree with joshw24, he really needs to fly after all this time.

If Zod and his crew start flying immediately after they get their powers back, the show is going to have a hard time explaining why Clark isn't up, up and away.

I'm curious, if Clark keeps leaving an 'S' everywhere he goes, why hasn't anyone on the Daily Planet gotten creative enough to stop calling him the Red/Blue Blur? You would think they would throw in a 'S' like Red/Blue Streak or something like that.

I would love it to go 10 Seasons, but he must fly and wear the full costume by the end of this season!

They cant drag it out any longer imo! :)

all the actors, old and new, have been spot on this season...tess aka mercy, clark, but kudos to lois and zod!!!

What's up with the Kandorians? Why dont they have any powers? Clark is suppose to be like a giant solar battery powered by the sun right? So why havent he taken too the skies yet he's like 25yrs.old come on get him in the air.
If they don hurry up and give Zod his powers I dont think there's going to be a fight this season. Maybe their still powering up or something sure is funny how Kara had none of these problems....she was powered up and flying.

As ive mentioned before on these smallville msg boards so far its been very good this season. with more info coming out about upcoming episodes and the potention for a snin off series after season 10 smallville has finally after 9 seasons become the tv show that weve wanted for a while now.

i am really looking forward to friday nights now. before i only looked forward to it because battlestar glactica was on but now i at least have something to watch on fridays.

kudos to CW for stepping up. NOW GIVE US A JLA SPIN OFF SEREIS WE CAN ALL BE PROUD OF :)

this season is the best in along long time this is the best season sensse season 5 lets hope they dont run out of gas like they did last season and yhea the creative team has changed some what

Did you really just ask why they dont have any powers? They came there in the Orb. Jor-El used blue Kriptonite to take their powers out of the orb so that when they got to earth they wouldnt have any, i think that why they get their powers it going to be from the solar powered building tower that Tess is going to build that Lois keeps seeing in her flash to the future. Zod is going to harvest the sun, They might not even get their powers, instead they might just take clarks powers from him to fight. Regardless this has turned out to be a great season, and im not looking forward to the mid season break till after the holidays
