superman wins, even though thor has magic and is "god" hes just outmatched physically, plus magic isnt like kryptonite, he can be hurt by it but hes not weak to it, his other powers will be too much combined with his superior strength. thor goes down.

In the past I had supported Thor, but I've reconsidered.

Strength: Superman > Thor (slightly)

Speed: Superman >>> Thor

Brains: Superman >>> Thor (Thor isn't a complete idiot, but he's very brash and will fall for almost anything, while Superman is genius level intelligence)

Energy projection: Superman = Thor (heat from the sun, and lightning)

Although Thor does have magic, but magic isn't like Kryptonite where it weakens him he is simply vulnerable to it.

So I'd say Superman wins 7/10.

You forgot

Battle Tactician: Superman <<<<<<<<< Thor

Thor has been alive for thousands of years. He's seen more battles in the last 100 years than Superman has his entire life. All that aside, I do think Big Blue would win. Superman is stronger, and faster. I also think he's more durable.
VIRILEMAN - 4/14/2013, 4:48 PM
I think it would be a great battle until Superman let loose. Then he'd end it pretty quick. Then again Thor could go into his "warrior madness" thing. But even then I still think Superman would win.

@VIRLEMAN
Thor dives head first into anything, he's brash and he doesent fight smart. He doesn't "look before he leaps" He'll fall for anything, you can't deny this. It doesn't sound like a master tactician to me...just saying'

Superman is not a genius tactician either, but he's definitely smarter than Thor.

if only you could put batmans mind into supermans body...unstoppable....
thunderforce - 4/15/2013, 5:41 PM
In the category of energy projection Superman has eye beams , Thor is far above that he can absorb energy not just sunlight but any form of energy . Cosmic , magnetic , magical , any form of energy he can amplify it and project it back . That is far beyond anything that Superman can do , so that is far above and beyond lightning .

Batman is the world's greatest detective, not fighter. I'd say putting Captain America's brain into Superman would wreak almost anyone's day.

@Fenix122

Good point. I concede.

batman has more fighting skill than cap

1. "Strength - Superman > Thor"
As stated before, both of them have displayed planetary strength feats, with either one not really showing an absolute upperlimit.

2. "Brains - Superman > Thor"
Depends on which field of intelligence you're referring to.

3. "Energy Projection - Superman = Thor"
Wait, you think Superman's energy projection is equal to that of Thor's? Not to sound condescending, but you should take a deeper look into all the energy capabilities Mjolnir can do.

@SageMode
Like I said Superman has overall shown slightly better strength feats than Thor, not by a wide margin but still. In the brains, I suppose Thor could've been a master tactician, he DOES have the skills he just doesn't use them. He's brash and falls for anything. Superman is just more intelligent overall. As for the energy projection, I'm just looking at Lighting vs Heat from the sun, where I'd rate them dead even.

@relentless1
No he does not.
GuardianDevil - 4/21/2013, 8:09 PM
If you go by the stats then Cap Is way better than Bats, but I you go by the feats (which are far more accurate than stats) I'd say Cap is better just by a hair. He's defeated and stalemated Batman level opponents before, like Daredevil or Black Panther if you want an example.
JuggyPunch - 4/21/2013, 9:06 PM
Superman outclasses than Thor in every regard 'cept skills. Like fenix122 said, Thor's got the skills he just dont use e'm cuz he's too full of himself. So, they wouldn't play a big part here.

"batman has more fighting skills than cap"
bwahahahaha, been smokin again I see ;) either that o ya don't know Rogers. Rogers outmatches Wayne in almost every regard 'cept I guess science. Even then Wayne isn't even that great of a scientist.
relentless1 - 4/22/2013, 12:56 AM
im tired of having this argument with you guys, cap is better equipped physically because of the steroids he had pumped into him but batman has him outclassed in martial skill, his feats speak for themselves

He falls for anything? Any showings of that?
JuggyPunch - 4/22/2013, 11:19 AM
relentless1, Rogers is better martially than Wayne. In the war he was initially trained by Applegate and Fairbairn. Who were masters of all European and Oriental martial styles, they trained him extensively in every one of those styles. He learned them very quickly because of his mind. Later on, Rogers began to study more martial arts on his own and even says he been extensively trained in all styles known to the world.
JuggyPunch - 4/22/2013, 11:20 AM
I only been on this site for maybe two weeks now, but I had been watching it before that. You had this explained to you many times by other users.
GuardianDevil - 4/22/2013, 11:56 AM
@SageMode
I already explained this, Thor is brash and he DOESN'T fight smart. You can't possibly deny this.

@Relentless & JuggyPunch
Crossovers aren't canon and they don't mean anything. Also, Cap has the feats as well. He's managed to get the best of Black Panther, Daredevil, Wolverine and Iron Fist on a few occasions. Cap is better martially, you could argue Bats has more experience. Which would be true, but it's just that It would take Bats almost a year to master what Cap can do in a little over a month. Because of the enhanced mind, he can master in a month or so what'd take Bats almost a year.
JuggyPunch - 4/22/2013, 5:01 PM
I'd put Wayne's martial ability dead even with Murdock and T'Challa. Just a bit below Rogers and Stroke. But a bit betta than Fist, Logan, Cain, Shiva, Tony Masters and Shang. I'd also put Bronze Tiger and Rich Dragon dead even with Wayne, Murdock and T'Challa.
