I was worried about Doom from the start, I really didn't like how he was "palling around" with the rest of the team in the trailers and acting like just one of the guys, that is so not Doom

In other news, Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is reported to be at standstill yet again due to Johnny Depp, and reports are that they are looking for other actors go take over the franchise. When oh when will Disney learn?

Also Wonder Woman will start filming Fall 2016 While Justice League Part 1 will shoot Spring 2016.

I've said countless times that I thought that the movie could be serviceable, but in no way would it be a legit FF movie. Looks like I was right on one part...

More than just his childhood friend, he is basically his brother. Reeds father takes him in as a child and raises them together. And you know this crap never works in comic book movies, when they try to connect everyone and everything together. Cue large chunks of wasted time and film with poorly written family drama. Even the effects are dodgy, but EVERYTHING is gloomy. Reeds powers are the worst. The stretching effects are terrible. Oh, and by the way, he doesn't actually stretch at all. His body shape does not change. He is able to warp the space time around himself and manipulate it so it LOOKS like he is able to stretch. Ooooohh so scientific and more real now! Look what we learned from the Dark Knight movies! We don't have to go to space like the comic, we will just hop to another dimension and get "dimension travel sickness" from making the trip which will forever alter our atoms at a molecular level. We don't have powers, we have science and stuff! So [frick]ing lame.

Nah that's just Kate Mara. I've adored her for years and always watch her interviews, she's quite hipster and has a very dry style when it comes to humour and interviews. But she does seem to enjoy working with the cast. She's like her sister Rooney Mara, who isn't all bubbly and fun during interviews either

@speedyg33 from what FOX has allowed us to see, I'm confident in stating that I'd take at least 25% of this at face value. Catwoman, GL, "Amazings", GR, RIPD, Jonah Hex move over... looks like there may be a new big dick riding into town next week. And by "town" I mean 'worst CBM's ever'.

This movie looks good to me. And after a summer of weak superhero offerings, I'm hoping it turns out to be the single flawless one.
I'm wondering if there's an element of The Fly involved in their getting powers. Are they transormed by the alien energy from the Zone? or by teleporting back to Earth and mingling their dna with alien particles?

They don't find out about Thing's core self until late in the comic, but it is there in the comic. Eventually his rocks start falling off of him revealing a Ben Grimm made of pure energy. It was a really good story that paired him and Sue together as love interests.
But I'm kind of hoping they save that for a sequel.
