looks beasty

ratner > black

He should leave The Hercules role and try out for Luke Cage. Hercules isn't even as popular as LC and this guy's got the charisma to pull the other one off.
AlexanderLykins - 7/17/2014, 9:39 PM
It looks like crap.
Saga - 7/17/2014, 9:54 PM
Yeah, Luke Cage is waaay more popular than the hundred years old Hercules.
Laconic - 7/17/2014, 10:14 PM
hundred years old Hercules

More like multiple millennia old.

I don't have a bias against Ratner, not every director can make every movie something I'll like. And I honestly believe every film maker can potentially turn out something I may love.

I am totally ignorant about the behind the scenes story on the making of this movie. What turns me off is when I just found out it's apparently not about the labors? ...why?
Kyos - 7/17/2014, 10:28 PM
Maybe it's because the Rock/Hercules casting still feels super weird to me, but this is only slightly more appealing to me than the previous 2014 Hercules movie.
BlackBolt72 - 7/17/2014, 10:32 PM
I sure do want to try and like this.
CuddlyCereal - 7/17/2014, 10:42 PM
Lol at the video game chick.

The stills look pretty good, and I love the shot of that giant Lion. But some of the quips that I see in the tv ads are a little off putting.
croniccris - 7/17/2014, 11:10 PM
fvckin multi million dollar movie and they can't even get a chest plate that actually fits HEEEERRCLLUUUEEESSSSS! I mean wtf he's hercules and maximus meriduis desmimious had a WAY better chest plate...his had horses and actually fit him....fvck this movie lol
micvalpro - 7/17/2014, 11:23 PM
Why does his chest piece look like it's something for a kid that you would buy at party city
kevberg - 7/17/2014, 11:45 PM
The stills look damn good. The swamp scene with the hydra looks awesome--the rest kinda looks like scorpion king.

might still be good popcorn fun.
Mercwitham0uth - 7/17/2014, 11:49 PM
This is gonna flop.
Fabius - 7/18/2014, 12:13 AM

Yeah Merc! That's what everyone said about Green Lantern.
FightingCommander - 7/18/2014, 1:26 AM
Either that shot of him fighting the big (Nemean?) lion is forced perspective, or his hat came from a much smaller lion. What'd he do, go around endangering the species until he found one the right size?
wallhead - 7/18/2014, 2:49 AM
lol the breastplate is weird because it doesn't match where his actual chest begins and it ends. lol the abs on plate start in the middle of his real chest. but the movie looks rockin
Dotanuki - 7/18/2014, 3:51 AM
Why is that guy holding two blunt axes in that pic? They must be props used for filming, smh.
manofsteel1942 - 7/18/2014, 4:15 AM
My favorite is the 13th trial when he claimed the Floridian Fanny Pack....!!

Vadakin - 7/18/2014, 5:02 AM
Alan Moore (yes, that Alan Moore) is calling for a boycott of the film because apparently his friend Steve Moore (no relation) who wrote the comic this is based on died without getting a cent for the film.

DrKinsolving - 7/18/2014, 6:11 AM
The Rock looks [frick]ing HUGE, [frick] the chest plate though
OpticBlastWins - 7/18/2014, 6:37 AM
According to ESPN the rock eats 7 meals a day... Theres another not so fun fact of the day
TheLight - 7/18/2014, 11:55 AM
In the last picture, they're watching "The Legend of Hercules".
ImInteresting - 7/18/2014, 10:02 PM
This is going to flop.
3DOldskool - 7/19/2014, 3:11 PM
This man should audition for Luke Cage, not Hercules.
