beane2099 - 1/14/2013, 12:30 PM
Wow. In theory, the next two years are jam packed with stuff I'm looking forward to. That is assuming that everything comes out as planned and nothing gets pushed back (Godzilla or JLA anyone?).
sinchsw - 1/14/2013, 12:35 PM
Brad Bird should really drop what he's doing and direct the next Star Wars movie. Seriously.
marvel72 - 1/14/2013, 12:35 PM
there is gonna be a few billion dollar grossing movies in 2015 & disney are behind most of them.

-the avengers 2
-star wars episode 7
-pirates 5
-pixar film (there will be at least one)
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 1/14/2013, 12:39 PM

[frick]!!!! My ass is gonna be in theaters all year.
MyInnerDork - 1/14/2013, 12:40 PM
Can Disney just buy DC Entertainment from Warner Bros. so they can start making good DC movies next? And they should buy Hasbro so they can control (and create) better G.I. Joe and Transformers movies. Might as well add Sony to that list so they can get Spider-Man back to Marvel Studios and finally release Ghostbusters 3.

There is no stopping the mouse right now...
MisterMagurlypse - 1/14/2013, 12:45 PM
I didn't care for the last Pirates flim, probably cause That Cruz chick just annoys the hell outta me. If she's not in the 5th, I may check it out.
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 1/14/2013, 12:46 PM
^^^^^^disney buy dc entertainment and sony? they will go bankrupt if such madness ever happened. and WB would buy all 3 - disney, sony and dc entertainment back

2015 is a terrible idea. Why does every movie want that year? And the weird part is, Disney is behind many of those big 2015 films

jessepostal - 1/14/2013, 12:47 PM
Hellboy doesn't make half the money that those titles do, let it go
dancingmonkey08 - 1/14/2013, 12:55 PM
2015 is the year the whole world loses their money! WTF? Now the ultimate question is how many of the movies will be brilliant?

Pirates will personally be far down the list with Star Wars and Avengers near the top

looking forward to the new Muppets in 2014 too!

and goddamnit no Brad Bird, where is the Incredibles 2?!!! [frick] the original movie until you get that out
PaulRom - 1/14/2013, 1:30 PM
2015 is gonna be amazing if all these films eying a 2015 release (Justice League, Star Wars 7, Avatar 2). I'm definitely going broke that year.
charlie2094 - 1/14/2013, 1:31 PM

Hellboy is no where near as successful as Pirates, so not surprising no one wants to finance Hellboy 3. The public obviously aren't that interested in the character, which is why we probably won't get another, unlike many people like Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow.

As long as it's better than On Stranger Tides, I'm happy. Can't wait for some more Pirates.
Kingcollieo08 - 1/14/2013, 3:56 PM
Now I love movies, especially comic book movies but the entertainment industry has billions of $$$$ to make these blockbuster films yet there are nearly 14 million American citizens homeless & living under poverty line. Tell me something aint wrong with that?
marvelmaniaco - 1/14/2013, 4:03 PM
I loved each and every pirates of the Caribbean movie exactly how they are!!! They are great their all as good as eachother! I cannot wait for the new one! I hope though that they have long John silver or red beard in :)
ricko8687 - 1/14/2013, 4:21 PM
Get the incredibles 2 in the mix would be biggest box office year ever
Pooh - 1/14/2013, 5:29 PM
First one was epic. Second one was a circus. Third one was quirky. Fourth one needed a few rewrites.
Boekelaar - 1/14/2013, 6:36 PM
@ricko8687 That would never happen considering Brad Bird is working on 1952 for the next 2 years and Pixar would never make a sequel without him.
SugarYumYum - 1/14/2013, 7:35 PM
So in Disney's corner we have:

Pirates 5 (billion dollar franchise)
Avengers 2 (billion dollar franchise)
Star Wars 7 (billion dollar franchise)
Muppets 2 (1st made over 150mil)
Maleficient (will probably do SWATH numbers)
1952 (if great, could make lots of $$$ due to lack of competition)

Goddamn that Mouse House...
SWelch - 1/14/2013, 8:06 PM
Like we need another Pirates of the Caribbean.
AUSSYACE - 1/14/2013, 11:45 PM
I can't remember now but I think it was pirates 3 that totally lost the plot and the story was serious shyte...

Lots of good movies coming out in 2015 though...

I just hops we can add JLA to that list cause that's the one I really want to see...
mr2324jgf - 1/15/2013, 10:50 AM
Olivia Wilde for the next pirates movie... at least if it sucks we'll have amazing eye candy :)
