Everything Wrong With Sam Raimi's OZ: THE GREAT & POWERFUL

Sam Raimi's Wizard of Oz prequel, did extremely well at the worldwide box office this year, but now it is time to see CinemaSin tear Oz: The Great and Powerful apart with their nitpicking.

Disney's fantastical adventure "Oz The Great and Powerful," directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum's beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he's hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

I CAN'T watch this all the way through.... I just can't.
It's impossible to take this rubbish seriously after seeing the magnificent theatre-show 'Wicked'.

Honest Trailers are more fun than this.

Nevertheless, I never liked Oz. I'm glad I haven't seen this film. It looks stupid and incredibly fake. Even faker than Burton's Alice in Wonderland fake.

I thought Oz was okay. It had some good and bad. I would have liked it better if Mila Kunis wasn't cast as the wicked witch of the west. She was pretty awful.

I liked some of the cleavage shots in Oz. Other than that, nah.

Oz the Great and Powerful should have made more sense and been a musical.

This movie is terrible. Sam Rami can't make a good movie at all.

James Franco's performance in Oz was one of the most painful things that I've ever had to sit through when watching a film.

I'm usually on board with these guys, but it seems pretty clear they only had about 1/3 the sins they actually counted...and the rest was like, "um...we need more."

Loved the stuff at the end.
