Extended Promo For GAME OF THRONES Season Finale: "The Children"

Extended Promo For GAME OF THRONES Season Finale: "The Children"

I think we can all agree that the penultimate episode raised the tv bar in terms of action/special effects, but by all accounts this Sunday's season 4 finale is the "finest hour of television" the Game Of Thrones showrunners have produced. Check out an extended look with new footage..

"Circumstances change after an unexpected arrival from north of the Wall; Dany must face harsh realities; Bran learns more about his destiny; Tyrion sees the truth about his situation."

At 66 minutes, "The Children" will be the longest ep of Game Of Thrones yet, and will air this coming Sunday.

Kids love Game of Thrones.

"All Men must die" - yeah, and you've proven that by killing off the best of all of them, Oberyn. Oh, GoT, you infuriate me, but I can't get enough of you 😬
Klone - 6/10/2014, 11:41 AM
GRRM is an evil Santa.

All men must die who are in any way related to Sean Bean!!!!

If this show doesn't end The Usual Suspects style with Hodor as the mastermind of all the bad shit that's happened, I'm gonna be really [frick]ing pissed off.
charlie2094 - 6/10/2014, 11:53 AM
Can't wait! Going to be so good, lots of great stuff ready to show! Really hope they do a certain reveal that book readers will know about, be an awesome way to end the season
Gusto - 6/10/2014, 11:54 AM

I agree with whyso.
Battabing - 6/10/2014, 12:00 PM
Seems like Bran is just about out of story content.

Rhaegon and Viscerion do not look very pleased to be in their current predicament.
sKeemAn - 6/10/2014, 12:03 PM
This show ends to fast. I would be satisfied a litte more if they gave us 12 episodes a season. This last one should be really good if it stays close to the books.
Klone - 6/10/2014, 12:04 PM

I accidentally read up about what happens to Bran in ADWD... so what the hell are they going to do if this is it? Like, are they going to omit him from the next few seasons... or will he simply find the you-know-whats as the cliffhanger or will he simply find you-know-who-riding-an-elk to then guide him in the next seasons?
zephyrrr - 6/10/2014, 1:03 PM
Wow, lots of spoilers in this promo.

The producers of the show have a major problem now, which is that they've almost run out of story...especially INTERESTING story. This is doubly true for characters like Sansa and Bran; not sure what they would do next season.

This finale will be awesome, but there's not much more that is exciting after this, at least not until Winds of Winter. HBO has one more season of material, because books 4 and 5 will have to be compressed into a single season based on the decisions they've made. So GRRM will be publishing 'Winter' in the summer of 2015, giving HBO one more season in the nick of time...but the last book won't be ready until 2019 at the earliest. Who knows how they'll deal with that?

Guys, it's not very difficult for me to get you a permanent ban from the site...and I have no problem doing it if you persist. So the ball is in your court.
thejfather1 - 6/10/2014, 3:06 PM
i think theres plenty of exciting stuff next season, since they are combining books 4 and 5, the new greyjoy and martell characters need to be spot on though
Ghaleonausa - 6/10/2014, 3:13 PM
should not be an issue nailing the characters, the show has done an awesome job at it, Red viper was a perfect example, in the books he was just another character, but in the show they gave him such life that when he dies i found my self feeling stunned, even though i new it was coming since i am fan of the books
JorL5150 - 6/10/2014, 3:15 PM
a show about boobs- and a post with boobs is deleted.

then they bitch about the MPAA

No other show has [frick]ed with my emotions like this one!
KaioKen - 6/10/2014, 3:34 PM
I think this season will go down as the best if the show. Book 4 sucked and book 5 is good but not as good as 2 and 3. Winds of Winter? We'll see. The HBO series is going to have to take like a 4 yr hiatus wait for the last book. Thats never good for tv show.
