GAME OF THRONES: The "Beautiful Deaths" Of Season 3 Continue

"You hear them, boy? The old Gods are answering you." As season 4 draws near, we have another couple of beautiful deaths for you. Though I'm not entirely certain who's demise is being depicted in the first poster, the second marks the slaughter of the Nightswatch men (and horse) by the White Walkers.

"Survive the realm all over again with “Beautiful Death,” Robert Ball’s artistic interpretation of the most iconic deaths from the first three seasons of Game of Thrones. Whether by direwolf, dark magic, dragon or blade, feast your eyes on the preview below. Experience the complete episode-by-episode illustrated series and submit your own creations at"

Encouraged by the Red Wedding slaughter in the Riverlands that wiped out many of their Stark nemeses, the Lannisters’ hold on the Iron Throne remains intact … but can they survive their own egos, as well as new and ongoing threats from the south, north and east? While an unbowed Stannis Baratheon continues to rebuild his army in Dragonstone, a more immediate danger comes from the south, as Oberyn Martell, the Lannister-loathing “Red Viper of Dorne,” arrives at King’s Landing to attend Joffrey’s wedding to Margaery Tyrell, and perhaps act on an ulterior agenda. In the north, a depleted Night’s Watch seems overmatched against the inexorable Wall advances of Mance Rayder’s army of wildlings, which in turn is being trailed by an even more formidable foe: the undead White Walkers. As if that weren’t enough, Daenerys Targaryen, accompanied by her menacing trio of dragons and army of Unsullied, is poised to liberate Meereen, the largest city in Slaver’s Bay, which could ultimately provide her with enough ships to sail to Westeros and reclaim the Iron Throne."
Game Of Thrones returns to our screens on April 6.

The Red Viper of Dorne is going to own this season. Can't wait to do my first re-read of the series, so many complex, morally ambiguous characters, great logical fan theories and dense plotting (especially in A DANCE WITH DRAGONS). GRRM is such a damn good writer, books deserve multiple re-reads.

I was disappointed with CA:TWS because I didn't get to see widows ass properly.

Ror, you forgot:

1. Tyrion anallly abuses Margery.

2. Jon Snow goes all gay for Rattelshirt.

3. Arya becomes a jester for Deanerys in Astapor.

4. Nedd Stark and Robert Baratheon are resurrected as Siamese Twin Zombies and have their way with Brienne of Tarth.

5. Sam Tarly rolls over in his sleep, releases a sheet-fluttering fart, and his gas kills Maester Aegon, Gilly AND the baby.

6. Ygritte decides that Mammoth "strange" is better than Night's Watch "strange" and slips up the Milkwater with thirteen kegs of Gusto's patented "Roofie Coladas".

7. Melisandre finally admits that Stannis is hung like a baby carrot and decides to resurrect the corpse of Renly and TURN him.

8. The freaks in The Aerie decide to shut the world out and just have a huge incest-fest.

9. Cersei decides that horses would be more fun than Jaime and has herself fitted for a studded saddle and bridle.

10. Sansa screws Littlefinger and convinces him to convince Cersei that Tyrion is screwing Joffrey, so that she can now have sex with Shae whilst Theon Greyjoy rubs his stump.

I'm fairly certain the first poster is for Maester Luwin's death. The quote is Osha telling Bran Stark about the gods beyond the Wall, and she told him that when they were in the Godswood. Maester Luwin just happened to die there later on as well.
