New Glimpses Of GAME OF THRONES Season 3 In Video Log

The latest video report from the third season of HBO's fantasy series, titled "Molding The Book Into A Series", features writer/editor Bryan Cogman discussing the adaptation process. We also get a look at some BTS filming and dialog from the show..

Game Of Thrones returns to our screens for its third season on 31/03/13.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones.'

I don't understand johan02's complaint.

It was strongly implied in Clash of Kings that Melisandre was pregnant with a shadow born of her coupling with Stannis. And the introduction of Robb Stark's fiance is definitely in line with what happened in Storm of Swords - they just chose to develop it earlier for dramatic effect down the line.

All of this whining about the artistic licenses taken with the books is lame. If you want story Martin wrote then read the damn novels. A 12 part season series can't and shouldn't adapt it page for page.
