Damn no love for Jesus.Screw u bastards!! XD
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 6:47 AM
How is this an indoctrination film. Grasping at straws just to insult religion -_-
CaptainComicBook - 3/4/2014, 6:49 AM
Funny how many anti-Christians there are. Tell me. How many suicide bombings have there been in the name of Jesus? The Christian Church is the largest provider of healthcare in the history of mankind, but let's not focus on that.
ezra - 3/4/2014, 6:49 AM
CaptainComicBook - 3/4/2014, 6:50 AM
@BlackKnight, by that logic Clash of the Titans and Thor were indoctrination films too.
Doopie - 3/4/2014, 6:50 AM
here comes the religious debate again. i'm not religious but this movie looks ok to me. out b4 it all kicks off
CaptainComicBook - 3/4/2014, 6:53 AM
@BlackKnight if the majority of people believe it's true what's the point of an indoctrination film? The fact that you are offended about this movie is hilarious. It's the commercialization of a religious story. If anyone has the right to be offended by this film, it's Christians.
SuperCat - 3/4/2014, 6:53 AM
LOL @ MrReese

I love Jesus!
Nick56 - 3/4/2014, 6:57 AM
Love the cast but there is no way I would see this crap ever.
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 6:57 AM
Ok mr anti religion black knight let's talk about atheist. Mao, Stalin, Kim Jong il, how many people did they kill. O yea don't forget hitler too! More than Christians have killed. I think so.
0ptimusCrime - 3/4/2014, 6:57 AM
Am i the only one who thinks this movie has nothing to do with CBM,
ore is it because i do not give a crap about this movie?

TheGreenRanger - 3/4/2014, 6:58 AM
Did Jor-el visit earth before Cal?
CaptainComicBook - 3/4/2014, 6:58 AM
@BlackKnight using a small portion of a group to represent the entire group is a fallacy. By that argument, Americans are some the most vile people on earth because of the Newtown shooting.
RamonSuarez - 3/4/2014, 7:00 AM
I have no problem with this movie so long as people know its all bullshit with as much historical credibility in reality as Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's version of Thor. The Noah flood myth is one of the oldest and most universal archetypes in cultural history. Most serious biblical scholars and archaeologists of ancient Mesopotamia will tell you that the Noah myth was adapted from the Sumerian Epic of Giglamesh written in the 3rd millennium BCE, well before the Book of Genesis was ever transcribed, and adapted from Babylonian culture by Jews living in Babylon.
CaptainComicBook - 3/4/2014, 7:01 AM
@BlackKnight unless you have statistics you're arguments will not be taken seriously. By denouncing Jesus you're just confirming people's beliefs because the Bible predicted there would be trolls like you 2000 years ago.
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 7:03 AM
No matter how much you wana bash Christians, they have changed many lives for the better. Do yo. Know how many drug addicts, abused children , and homeless people we help a year. Atheist are not even close. All u guys do is talk about how terrible we are. Get on our level first then say something, a otherwise your arguments are as strong as robin in a fight against darkseid
SuperCat - 3/4/2014, 7:03 AM
RamonSuarez - 3/4/2014, 7:04 AM
BlackKnight speaks truth. But its clear to see that religious belief is an issue of faith rather than factual logic.
RamonSuarez - 3/4/2014, 7:05 AM
How many of you guys really believe this flood happened?
RamonSuarez - 3/4/2014, 7:06 AM
I disagree with BlackKnight42 about banning religion. Won't happen and its not feasible.
CaptainComicBook - 3/4/2014, 7:06 AM
Whether or not you are religious, you can't deny that Christians have done more to better this world than any other group. Are there some radical subgroups? Of course. It's the most diverse religion in history. But don't come at me with that Christians are the most vile people in the world garbage. Get facts man:
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 7:09 AM
Jesus the most evil man of all time. Do you even know "what you are writing. Do you know how many lives he's changed for the better.
RamonSuarez - 3/4/2014, 7:12 AM
Blaming an ideology for the evil of its perpetrators in pure abstraction and makes no sense in a careful consideration of a religion's history. There is no one monolithic 'Christianity' that imposed itself upon the peoples of the world. There were different factions and sects which assumed power and either used religion to inform their power struggles (the way many anti-gay fundamentalists do by quoting from the book of Leviticus) or rationalized their injustices through an appeal to god (as in the case of Catholic Church during the Crusades).
CaptainComicBook - 3/4/2014, 7:13 AM
Christianity has billions of adherents. It is no wonder that some of them (usually the ones who doubt its validity) manage to do good things.

LOL. It's always funny to see how much atheists will concede without admitting the possibility of intelligent design. So now you're arguing that everything good that Christians have created is a matter of probability. OK.
CaptainAmerica - 3/4/2014, 7:13 AM
Church is a pretty cool guy, eh collects money from the poor and doesn't afraid of anything.
RamonSuarez - 3/4/2014, 7:13 AM
In some cases Christians were also victims of internal power struggles within the religion itself - as in the case of Counter-reformation or the Cathar massacres.
DellRusk - 3/4/2014, 7:14 AM

Saying the Bible predicted that people would criticize it is not really anything to boast. That is just thinking ahead. When the Bible was written they knew there would be critical views on it so they just addressed it beforehand to state that they are somehow making predictions because of it.
CaptainComicBook - 3/4/2014, 7:15 AM
There is no one monolithic 'Christianity' that imposed itself upon the peoples of the world.

More proof that the whole "evil big brother conspiracy" idea of Christianity is hilariously uninformed.
RamonSuarez - 3/4/2014, 7:16 AM
Eh well, this thread discussion turned into the stupid Holy War it was destined to be once someone took a general pot shot against all religion.

johnblake - 3/4/2014, 7:21 AM
@black knight- even though they have done evil stuff they are still doing good in the world. I don't know what country u are from but I'm sure they've done some evil hellish things, but I'm pretty sure they still are doing good for people. People like you think they are wise because they think religion is an old and out of date system. If you sat down an read the bible, which from your words u have not you'd find its concepts are universal and timeless. They are not about control buu a higher moral standard
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 7:29 AM
Black knight - there are bad apples and every group. It's a weak argument to say, oh that group has done bad things all of the good stuff is invaild. Most of the times, when terrible things happen in christiandom is because people don't understand or have twisted the word.

Bravado- first you say athiest are not a group, then you say atheist are a social group. But you talking bout my argument
Kryptonlastson22 - 3/4/2014, 7:40 AM
Wow!! Interesting argumentation against religion. I don't blame those against Christianity, I mean, Catholicism made lot of evil things in the name of the cross, however, saying that abolish religion is the answer is an invalid argument because atheists also kill people and do evil. What to do then? Well, I say let's find the positive in both proposals. If you believe that finding the positive view about everything could be an "indoctrination tool" well... I encourage you to give the benefit of the doubt to your mind that will not be influenced by simply examining whatever issues addressed. If you can find moral lesson reading a Superman adventure I think people can be opened to find something similar in Noah's story. (I also recommend not to mix terms, catholicism invented hell and punishment and everything you complain about, however, Christianity is a philosophical proposal similar to Buddhism that if it were practiced without the shackles of tradition brings a lifestyle compatible with happiness and fulfillment.)
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 7:43 AM
Your taking the Timothy quote out of context. The structure of the the christain church is the male is the head of the family. Though by default he is the head of the church, they also have to have certain requirements which you did not post. Your goal is to say it is a chauvinistic religion. It's not, it's just has an established order for worship.

I'm disappointed in you. You could've atackked me with a much stronger verse from Leviticus if you wanted the gay marriage debate. But of course you just copied and pasted from an anti Christian site so you think you have some ammo. Of course god would be against homosexuality. He made women for men. Do true christains go around calling gay people fags. No they shouldn't I know plenty gay people and too of my friends are gay. Do I insult them no

The third verse is just no. If you know the story of Isaac he didn't kill him an sacrificed a lamb instead. It was just a test from god and a symbol of Jesus.

The fourth verse, in those days slavery was apart of life. The reason why they told slaves to be respect full was because they were reflecting Christ. I also see you didn't put the verse about helping runaway slaves, or how slave traders who kidnap don't go to heaven
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 7:49 AM
And stop copy and pasting from athiest Sites. I know you are because I've been to them and they have the same out of context scriptures. They don't know what they are talking about and can be easily dispatched by anybody who actually reads the bible. How bout you and bravado go and actually pick up a bible before you try and make ridiculous claims
CoolantTech72 - 3/4/2014, 7:55 AM
Alotta people will never believe this actual account, because if they did believe it would mean that there is a God, and in their acceptance of a God it would mean they are accountable to him, which would mean they can't live however they want because there would be consequences to the sin that they've indulged in their entire lives so this thing goes much deeper than most people think.

And for the record... I totally believe in Jehovah God
LastAvenger99 - 3/4/2014, 8:11 AM

I use to be a christian, even wanting to be a pastor, but i have to agree with you and I believe that if people who do not see the truth behind what you are saying are just trying to ignore reality.
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 8:12 AM
Galatians 3:28 - there is no Jew or gentile, slave or free, male or female but you are are all one in Christ.

You sir need to go back to the drawing board.. You have assumptions of what you think the bible means but no clue of its actual meaning. The only argument you have is about homosexuality and yes it os condemned in the bible. But is it right for the people who agree with the lifestyle to make people who disagree villains and unemployed. Wait isn't that the same thing you accused us of doing. The christain gay debate will go on forever. So what you gona brand me a homophobe even though I'm around gays all the time. You say a bunch of misconceptions without knowing actual facts. You know nothing of Christ.
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 8:28 AM
Uh yea that is why I'm saying. But as christains we have done more good. I've seen with my own eyes gang leaders, athiest, and drug addicts ,people abused as children, go from zero to Christian and make a true 360 turn around. So all of your anti god comments are invalid to me because it actually works. It helps the through the pain, and gives them the courage to go the right way.
johnblake - 3/4/2014, 8:31 AM
On we been doing that for about how many years. 2000
grifterprime - 3/4/2014, 9:26 AM
@ BlackKnight42 - You MUST be a muslim for all the crap you spout.
