New OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TV Spot - Which Witch Is Which?

Disney are still playing the Wicked Witch guessing game, even though they've already revealed her identity themselves...but we'll play along. Check out some new footage from Sam Raimi's prequel to The Wizard Of Oz in this new tv spot.

"Oz The Great and Powerful" imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

Expect the movie March 8, 2013.

It's very obviously Mila Kunis. Like, VERY obvious. In fact, if you know anything about the original books, you would know that. Her name is THEODORA.

Yeah I think its funny when everyone is trying to guess which witch when if you just look at the books it is all there for you.
UltimaRex - 1/22/2013, 6:15 AM
I don't even remember reading the books and I knew the wicked witch's name was Theodora. That said, I'll bet there's some kind of misdirection there.

Wasn't there TWO wicked witches?

@Asterisk: In the original book (The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, 1900) the Wicked Witch of the West was named Momba. She is not named Theodora in any of the Baum books. The Wicked Witch of the East was never named by Baum.
