datNAMEtho - 12/11/2013, 10:34 AM
DOS was great!!!! SMAUG was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ForceOfLegend - 12/11/2013, 11:28 AM
@Beto Thoin does something heroic? Bilbo's act to save him was more heroic. Given that Bilbo is just a regular Hobbit, & not a warrior.
ForceOfLegend - 12/11/2013, 11:28 AM
Can't wait for Desolation of Smaug, & There and Back again.

Can't wait. I loved LoTR. I love these!!! Now bring me an animated Silmarillion with the voice cast!!
datNAMEtho - 12/11/2013, 12:04 PM
Animated Silmarillion?! LOL it'd be much better if they make actual films out of that book as well. It's a great book so far, I'm halfway thru. Would love for WB to get the rights to it and to see it brought to life in another ten years or something :P But then I hope they flesh out the story well from the start and don't make changes to late.

I saw it today, definitely the best movie I saw this year! (I haven't seen Man of Steel yet though).
Luke91 - 12/11/2013, 12:25 PM
Watched the movie last night, Peter Jackson has lost his touch...

Like my friend said: "If the LotR-trilogy didn't exist, I'd rate this movie 4 out of 10."

Peter Jackson is doing a George Lucas, starts out with an epic trilogy to end up with a trash trilogy. There is so much wrong with his movie...

RetroFit - 12/11/2013, 12:52 PM
Looks like Peter Jackson is well on his way to being Fat Peter Jackson all over again.

He's a long cry from this:

mak2018 - 12/12/2013, 6:55 AM
Benedict Cumberbach should lay off the botox, he is looks like he cant move his upper lip.
lawndart - 12/12/2013, 1:36 PM
I've read and re-read the books over the years and can't find the sense in making "The Hobit" a 3-part movie. Money must be good.
