New International Trailer For G.I. JOE: RETALIATION Debuts

A new international trailer for Paramount Pictures' upcoming sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation has found its way online, and it features lots of new action-packed footage from the Dwayne Johnson-starrer. Hit the jump to watch it.

A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with Hasbro and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. Joe: Retaliation. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

Many thanks to @LucasSMend for the heads up.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation (which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona, Ray Stevenson, Byung-hun Lee and Ray Park) is set to hit theaters March 29th, 2013.

toco89 - 11/1/2012, 10:24 AM
Still think its gonna suck. No concrete evidence, just a feeling.
imnotwearinghockeypants - 11/1/2012, 10:26 AM
What the hell? Isn't this on VHS by now?
RorMachine - 11/1/2012, 10:44 AM

skidz - 11/1/2012, 10:46 AM
A definite improvement over the last film.
blvdnoise - 11/1/2012, 10:48 AM
This delay was such a bad move for Paramount.. Looks good and all, but jeeze.
TheDesertGorilla - 11/1/2012, 10:51 AM
Love how they released all those trailers, then made us wait an extra year lol
Tony93 - 11/1/2012, 10:56 AM
it still looks the same as the last one.. just better costumes
Temple - 11/1/2012, 11:02 AM

Tony93 - 11/1/2012, 11:06 AM

Greengo - 11/1/2012, 11:14 AM

mikesinuman - 11/1/2012, 11:18 AM

Rowsdower - 11/1/2012, 11:19 AM
This should go straight to dvd.
BackwardGalaxy - 11/1/2012, 11:26 AM
So, anyone else think Die Hard boned Wonder Woman?
KingEmperor - 11/1/2012, 11:31 AM
Ugh. I hate the fact that they put Flint in the backseat, and the possibility that Roadblock is a high-ranking officer, just because the Rock is playing him.
dollstix - 11/1/2012, 11:32 AM
And it will earn millions unlike Dredd :(
KnobGoblin - 11/1/2012, 11:33 AM
This will probably be the new Resident Evil franchise, and just go on, and on, and on, and on, and on...
Avenged99 - 11/1/2012, 11:44 AM
Hard to believe the ROCK and Bruce Willis would do a movie of this low quality
Merinator - 11/1/2012, 11:45 AM
As long as the Baroness is not in the film...I'll check it but not on theaters.
shahrazstate - 11/1/2012, 12:10 PM
Looks good this new director is much better then Stephen Summers.
third3ye - 11/1/2012, 12:19 PM
New trailer and no new footage... thanks Paramount!
OtakuPapi - 11/1/2012, 12:33 PM
Depending on the run time of this movie it may be awesome...still hate Channing Tatum being so soft in his role
Greenlantern1417 - 11/1/2012, 12:59 PM
The funny thing about putting this whole thing on hold for a 3D conversion, is that I'm so not gonna see this in 3D. Money well spent.
AlexDeLarge87 - 11/1/2012, 1:07 PM
What RorMachine said
ChubbyDeadpool - 11/1/2012, 1:30 PM
it doesn't have a misplaced sarcastic black guy in a hyper-accelerated "super suit" and no laser guns, so it already has more potential than the first one!
Philvis - 11/1/2012, 1:49 PM
I'm still not buying that a ready to roll out movie was postponed a year to add crappy 3D to it. Something tells me they did some reshoots or something.
BlueDemon - 11/1/2012, 2:03 PM
It has Bruce Willis in a GI Joe movie so I'm definitely going to see this.
Philvis - 11/1/2012, 2:06 PM
Let me restate that, something tells me they did some "substantial" reshoots...
marvel72 - 11/1/2012, 2:28 PM
looks alright but i didn't really notice anything new.
Niem8211 - 11/1/2012, 2:30 PM
I thought they trashed this flop of shit????
rbfn04 - 11/1/2012, 2:47 PM
Nice popcorn flick. People acting like the cartoon was high art or something.
laughterman26 - 11/1/2012, 3:38 PM
i want to cover adrianne palecki in caramel and lick it off her.- might go see this movie
SnakeEyes11 - 11/1/2012, 5:24 PM
While the costume is a huge improvement, why can't they make Snake Eyes look like this? Except have a dude who's in much better shape than me underneath. Still, I'm sure it won't be amazing, but i'm excited for this. Cobra looks legit.

Tufasrox - 11/1/2012, 5:54 PM
KamenRider bahahaha PERFECT!!
mgeoff88 - 11/1/2012, 7:09 PM
Like I've been saying, this is what the first movie should've been.

I still can't believed it was delayed for a 3D conversion. 3D isn't going to make the movie any better really.

I'm glad Channing Tatum still has a small role.
superbatspiderman - 11/1/2012, 7:32 PM
This movie looks awesome. I still don't know why they delayed this because I was looking forward to it. I guess I still have something to look forward to.
MJPETTY7 - 11/1/2012, 8:31 PM
Can't wait for this movie, but all I can say is Duke better be in it for more than 20 minutes...
Logan5 - 11/1/2012, 11:42 PM
@SnakeEyes11

Precisely! I'd rather shoot that take with a taller martial artist in the suit. Ray Park is awesome, but you never see his face & wreaks "short-stuff" when he's in the Snake Eyes suit on film.
kirbyfan - 11/1/2012, 11:54 PM
This looks absolutely awesome to me, I can't wait!
