	I'm expecting this movie to fail, but hoping it doesn't. Can't understand just why G.I. Joe needs to have romance in it, though. Hope that the (bad) comedy is VERY limited. P.S. Tatum as Snake Eyes?? HAHAHA! Then this movie would have DEFINATELY failed as bad, if not worse than doing a Hadooken to set off mines in water. 	@GUNSMITH- Why wouldn't the origional outfits work? The costumes for Superman, F4, Batman, and even IronMan all worked. Why can't they work for G.I. Joe? They aren't that outlandish. 	where did I ever say I expect this movie to be Shakespeare or Oscar worthy? I expect movies to be good. Whether they are dramas comedys or action film. Just because a move is based on a cartoon or happens to come out in the summer does not excuse it being bad. I am going to see this movie and if it is good I'll be the first to admit it. 	So is it your position that a movie is incapable of being bad if its made as a popcorn movie? So all you have to do to avoid criticism of a movie is to say it's just a popcorn movie don't put any thought into it? I should tell that to movie marketers and maybe they could put It in the poster. So what would you consider a bad movie? Have you ever seen a movie you thought sucked? Based on your standard I don't see how you could have. And whoever said they were expecting this movie to be deep? I believe people want it to be good not deep. There's a difference.....and for your info I may or may not be in your category of ass. 	fotc@ i called you an assface cause you called other people an ass. it was to demonstrate a point. and i believe lots of people hated transformes, and the crappyness was not accepted by all. hence the millions of post about it. millions of post in which people kept saying "its just a fun action popcorn movie quite thinking so much about it".....didnt fly with me then wont fly with me now. and just cause a movie makes lots of money doesnt make it good. there are hundreds of examples about that (spiderman 3, phantom menace) i will see this movie and make an informed opinion then. but since this is still (for now anyway) a free county i can say that it looks like shit and will probably suck. that way if its good ill be surprised, if it sucks i wont be dissapointed. assface. superdog - 7/23/2009, 8:39 AM
