NeoBaggins - 12/11/2012, 6:26 PM
Just release this shit so we can put it behind us. Release the "film", then the dvd two weeks later and set us free from hearing about it.
jessepostal - 12/11/2012, 6:32 PM
@nailbiter,How was it not gi joe?? Every episode introduced something new, and those suits fit right in with every gadget that they did. i take it you never saw gi joe series 2? It introduced even more tech gear in every episode
jessepostal - 12/11/2012, 6:33 PM
@dickbelt, he's not the leader in the movie, hes just one of the last joe's alive
reverendjonnynemo - 12/11/2012, 6:33 PM

The only reason that I care about this movie:

The film was written by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

@nail, you might wanna rewatch it than because it had all that. Especially with cobra
pro346 - 12/11/2012, 7:07 PM
Just rewatched the first one as jessepostal said its a straight up popcorn action! What did people expect its based on plastic toys! Looking forward to go Joe 2
toco89 - 12/11/2012, 7:23 PM

If you're gonna make multiple accounts to agree with yourself at least space it out cuz your poor writing already makes it too noticeable.
jessepostal - 12/11/2012, 7:54 PM
@nail, ??? That's what I ment by rewatch it, series one had all that stuff. You said you watched the original series and not the modern stuff, I said you might wanna rewatch it than because it def had all that tech stuff
jessepostal - 12/11/2012, 8:01 PM
@toco, did you come up with that all by yourself??
PersonaPostOvo - 12/11/2012, 8:49 PM
This movie should be out on DVD by now if they stuck with the original release date
PersonaPostOvo - 12/11/2012, 8:55 PM

I want a GI Joe movie that will make me stand up and yell "YO JOE",but my gut tells me this movie will make me say "meh". I don't want to say "meh" I really want a good action packed GI Joe movie!
natedetroit - 12/11/2012, 10:15 PM
@ReverendJonnyNemo exactly my thoughts... it was interesting the planted Tatum later into the trailer being as he was supposed to be killed in the opening of the movie. This was clearly a play to cut more of him into the film. I don't buy the 3D stuff one bit.
mgeoff88 - 12/11/2012, 10:16 PM
Noon, huh? Well, I love nooners. :P I can't stand the first G.I. Joe movie.

The sequel looked like what the first one should've been, but them delaying it has made me lose some interest.

@toco89 Dude, those are two different users. And you're saying he is writing poorly, but you spell because like "cuz?"
GLprime2814 - 12/11/2012, 10:37 PM
At this point just go straight to DVD
calciferboheme - 12/11/2012, 11:08 PM
I didn't like the first one. it had a few good moments and some decent casting, but it fell flat on nearly every level. Especially the awful effects.

However, this one look like it will be a lot of fun. The early previews really made it feel like a GI Joe movie, which the first didn't. I'm disappointed by the reshoots, but I'm still looking forward to it.
pro346 - 12/11/2012, 11:36 PM
@toco89 I've been on here for long time! You don't even have an avatar you clown!
pro346 - 12/11/2012, 11:39 PM
@toco if you want to talk about grammar .....should be no comma between pro AND Jesse haven't you heard of the word and!
SuperSomething616 - 12/12/2012, 4:15 AM

jazzman - 12/12/2012, 4:44 AM
next year The Rock going to make alot of money cause he has alot of films coming out
jessepostal - 12/12/2012, 4:59 AM
@nail, ha so because you didn't like the suits, they don't fit in the gi joe universe?? They can have a mass device, a weather dominator, jet packs, laser guns, mind control devices, etc, yet they can't have Exo suits???
kazumama - 12/12/2012, 6:50 AM
those who said that this movie is suck and hate just don't go watch this movie..nobody beg you go see it..it's your loses to miss the cool action films especially this
TruBeliever - 12/12/2012, 7:12 AM
GI Joe: Rise of Cobra - was one of the worst films I have ever seen. Stephen Sommers is a horrible director. The opening scene in that movie made zero sense and then you flash forward approx 400 years and call it "the not to distant future"? Holy hell on stick if that doesnt sum up how bad it was let me continue: JGL is cobra commander, Snake eyes costume has lips (why he's a mute), they are not all American, Destro CGI was a joke, he would have died, they are walking around in the artic with no protection( Sommers doesnt worry about hypothermia apparently) Even as a summer popcorn flick this was bad, worse the Van Helsing also directed by Sommers.
