Barry Allen Gets Acquainted With The ARROW's Hideout In New "Three Ghosts" Promo Photos

There's only a few hours to go until the midseason finale of Arrow airs, and while we're all hoping to see Barry Allen get the powers which turn him into The Flash, this last-minute batch of promo photos features the police scientist exploring Oliver Queen's hideout.

After a fight with Cyrus Gold AKA the Acolyte (guest star Graham Shiels), Oliver (Stephen Amell) is drugged and left for dead. Determined to cure him, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) makes a risky decision. The cure causes Oliver to hallucinate, and what he sees forces him to confront his past. Meanwhile, Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) continues to help Felicity, and their connection grows stronger. The Arrow asks Lance (Paul Blackthorne) to look into Gold, but when the stakeout on Gold goes bad, someone is killed. Roy (Colton Haynes) is captured and tortured by Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Geoff Johns & Ben Sokolowski.

This show has improved 100% since the first 10 episodes of S1.
Interestein - 12/11/2013, 2:08 PM
I really hope this is announced as connected to the DCCU.
ManDeth - 12/11/2013, 2:24 PM

The episode airs every weds, today is weds
Dmon - 12/11/2013, 2:35 PM
@NPaMusic That confirms nothing it never says that it is not connected. Plus that guy just wants to be Nightwing and has been hounding producers he has not been cast in anything. Plus one of the editors on this site has a source at WB and they said they are waiting for how audiences react to Grant Gustin here is the article:
SuperPickle - 12/11/2013, 2:36 PM
I bet we see Barry's superspeed tonight. My money is on the fact that he's already had the speed powers. THAT'S why they allowed all the scuttlebutt to reach us. It's a bait and switch. No need for a Flash "back door pilot" when the powers are established. Give him his own and make the "origin" a flashback.
ManDeth - 12/11/2013, 2:48 PM
Someone used to upload Arrow early on Pirate Bay. Sometimes 40 minutes sometimes an hour before it comes on CW.
Hope they do that tonight.
jamesbrando3 - 12/11/2013, 2:49 PM

I agree with you so much. WB would be missing out on an entirely created and populated DCU by not including Arrow and everything that comes with it. Especially if they're current plan is to try and act like the whole world is established without putting in all the work Marvel has done over the years.

Hell IMDB top ten user rated shows of the year has Arrow at 5 only behind the like of GoT, Breaking Bad, and Walking Dead. Arrow is a good show period, not just a good superhero show....

Wow, Amell have lost some muscles and gained a bit of a far. I guess newborn does something with that.
JorL5150 - 12/11/2013, 3:17 PM

whittaflash - 12/11/2013, 3:31 PM
Holy shit, Diggle is huge.
soforizo - 12/11/2013, 3:33 PM
The anticipation is killing me... I know it's only a mid-season episode, but I can't wait to see it.
soforizo - 12/11/2013, 3:36 PM
Diggle is a beast. Oliver can teach him fight skills, but Diggle owns the gym.
whoa123 - 12/11/2013, 4:44 PM
It would be awesome if Barry starts mentioning at a "crazy Bat character over at Gotham City".
SuperPickle - 12/11/2013, 5:13 PM
I'm telling you, Allen is revealed as already having the superspeed. TONIGHT. How much ya wanna bet?
SuperPickle - 12/11/2013, 5:14 PM
Also, I bet Luthor is the one who gets mention tonight.
Hemsey - 12/11/2013, 5:20 PM

KINGPEN266 - 12/11/2013, 5:23 PM

Oh hell was that good! The best Episode of any TV series I've ever seen!
miklonus - 12/11/2013, 6:02 PM
Best Green Arrow episode so far. Better than the two scripted by Geoff Johns last season.
SAZMD - 12/11/2013, 6:04 PM
Is that the end of Solomon Grundy?
Ineedrevelation - 12/11/2013, 6:04 PM
insane! brilliant! how do they keep all these plot points steady? what is roy gonna do now with all that power? freaking deathstroke!
Dmon - 12/11/2013, 6:05 PM
@miklonus This one was also written by Johns.

@SAZMD Actually did you see his face I think it was the death of Cyrus Gold and the birth of Solomon Grundy!
miklonus - 12/11/2013, 6:05 PM
Was that guy supposed to be Solomon f_ckin' Grundy?

"SAZMD - 12/11/2013, 6:04 PM

Is that the end of Solomon Grundy?"

SAZMD, was that guy supposed to be Solomon Grundy? Tell me you're not serious. Maaan, that's a shitty way to do Grundy if so.
SAZMD - 12/11/2013, 6:09 PM
Well, given the poem, the name Cyrus Gold and the way he looked at the end, yeah - Solomon Grundy! I didn't see Roy's outcome coming at all! That was a surprise. And showing Slade at the end was very cool. Also, The Flash!
miklonus - 12/11/2013, 6:14 PM
antoineflemming, could you explain what you meant by "Gotta admit I was hoping Arrow would get it (and every superhero, for that matter. Having comics showing Batman punching other super-powered beings around is pretty unbelievable, and for other superheroes too, so the idea of them having some sort of strength-enhancing stuff makes it more believable)."

What do you mean by "Gotta admit I was hoping Arrow would get it"? "get it" as in get killed? Or did you mean get that mirakuru serum to fight that...(I can't believe I'm saying this) Solomon Grundy....guy?

(I can't believe "THAT" guy was Solomon Grundy. No wonder he got an inordinate amount of time (which means alot, in case I used the word "inordinate" wrong, if it even is a word).

That explains the Solomon Grundy quote by Green Arrow at the end of the show. I thought that line was weird and kind of...misplaced, or out of the ordinary/nowhere.

Now it makes sense. That was a....watered down version of Solomon Grundy. Oh well. Don't mind my last couple of lines, I'm just pseudo-thinking out loud, but sharing it with y'all so y'all can give me feedback.

Shado(w?) featured a Walking Dead-like death. Main show character gets killed.
Reni - 12/11/2013, 6:15 PM
Hori shieeeeet that was awesome ∞/10
