i hope he doesnt just call himslef "arrow" something about that sounds off
Knightrider - 6/6/2012, 4:14 PM
At roughly 3:22 is that a flash of Deathstrokes Mask?

And I think this looks promising, looks more grown up that Smallville, and respecting the fact it has a TV budget looks like they have done quite well.

SirEdwardIV - 6/6/2012, 4:16 PM
Deathstroke? 3:23
LucasMend - 6/6/2012, 4:17 PM
Why is he at Luthor Mansion?
RocketMadnessBoss - 6/6/2012, 4:17 PM
This looks really cool!!
n1ghtw1ng2832 - 6/6/2012, 4:18 PM
PRETTY COOL.
Knightrider - 6/6/2012, 4:18 PM
@Yoss Not sure what your point is, like you said she doesn't know comics. So I would be sure she'd make plenty of mistakes when asked about the world of comics.
sexfoodcomics - 6/6/2012, 4:18 PM
Ooooo deathstroke mask.
sexfoodcomics - 6/6/2012, 4:19 PM
It looks ok. Just like any CW show.
BlueMex - 6/6/2012, 4:20 PM
dude 3:22 !
Knightrider - 6/6/2012, 4:23 PM
@DeathMetalBrian Maybe that is just how it starts, plus I think after Green Hornet and Green Lantern they have had to distance themselves from people making the association.

Also by calling him Arrow, people who are not familiar will also not just connect it with the Smallville version of the character.

I have to say, this is one time I have to agree with the change.

Worth a look. Just a look.
AnditsOn1 - 6/6/2012, 4:30 PM
Corret me if I'm wrong, but I did see deathstroke's mask!!!! Awesome!!!!
musicsuperhero1 - 6/6/2012, 4:31 PM
I still wanna hold out hope for this but he more i see the less i like...

"the criminals and corrupt"...

Well to quote ANOTHER line from Batman Begins...

"what's the matter, don't you have anything new?!"
RorMachine - 6/6/2012, 4:34 PM
Actually there is, the character's name is Green Arrow..it's like making A Booster Gold show and calling him Gold. [frick]ing dumb if you ask me.
Shadowmaster35 - 6/6/2012, 4:36 PM
much much better than i had expected. I'll give this a shot.
AnditsOn1 - 6/6/2012, 4:36 PM
You marvel fanboys please stop crying shit. We didn't intentionally say something bad to your beloved high bugdet movies, did we? (At least I never did that.)
DaenerysTargaryen - 6/6/2012, 4:41 PM
Impressive
AlexDeLarge87 - 6/6/2012, 4:41 PM
Meh.

It looks ok. Not anything special thou.

Things which annoys me most are that they didnt bother to make Oliver Queen look like Oliver Queen or Constantine Drakon look like Constantine Drakon who shows up in 2:32 with that bald Lex Luthor guy.
HavocPrime - 6/6/2012, 4:41 PM
not bad, worth a watch
AlexDeLarge87 - 6/6/2012, 4:44 PM
Deathstroke mask was cool surprise thou. :)
RorMachine - 6/6/2012, 4:47 PM
That being said it doesn't look TOO bad. A bit of ropy dialog and acting but I guess you can't hope for miracles on The CW. Love that Deathstroke tease.
8thDynasty - 6/6/2012, 4:53 PM
Can't view - video set to private.

Anyone got a mirror?
FEJ - 6/6/2012, 4:53 PM
Now all the need is quality villans, not lame ones.
Logan276 - 6/6/2012, 4:55 PM
Looks awesome!!

The only things i didn't like were the voiceover and the sister.

Is the top name in the book of criminals "danny brickwell"?
AlexDeLarge87 - 6/6/2012, 4:56 PM
Durf@ yeah definitely best part of this trailer.
SeaSerpentine - 6/6/2012, 4:57 PM
I just wish they gave "Arrow" a mask.
WolvieCBM - 6/6/2012, 4:57 PM
If anyone has another link, let me know. For some reason CW has marked the video as "private." No idea why.
soforizo - 6/6/2012, 5:00 PM
It's a TV show on a small network, lighten up people!

This is no Smallville. Seeing Green Arrow kill some dude by snapping his neck to protect his secret... absolute win. It's CW way of saying: 'we're not in Kansas anymore'.
soforizo - 6/6/2012, 5:04 PM
I'm not a big fan of Green Arrow, but I'm checking this out. Anyways, it's not like we're going to be getting a Green Arrow movie or seeing him in the Justice League any time soon.
YourMomNaked - 6/6/2012, 5:14 PM
Strange, calling Captain America Cap seems to work just fine.
Bodwulf - 6/6/2012, 5:23 PM
Sweet Feathery Moses that God aweful music!!!!!!
soforizo - 6/6/2012, 5:25 PM
@YMN - I'm not as annoyed by the name anymore. Frankly, I'd like to see more comic book based tv shows as I hate waiting for movies; preferably on some premium or cable channel.
RorMachine - 6/6/2012, 5:26 PM
The fact that it's a "color" has nothing to do with it, which is why I made the Gold comparison. The character's name is Green Arrow, if you're gonna make a tv show based on him, you should call him Green Arrow. Just pointless to drop the first part, whether it's a color or not. There is no argument.
TheStranger - 6/6/2012, 5:30 PM
STOKED!!!!
webslinger2099 - 6/6/2012, 5:35 PM
LAME.
SudsMerrick - 6/6/2012, 5:38 PM
Love the look and feel of it so far. I also found it funny how many Smallville sets are redressed the Luthor Mansion, The Daily Planet offices, the metropolis city back lot. I'll give it a watch in the fall.
SudsMerrick - 6/6/2012, 5:40 PM
Also it would be cool if at some point in the series they adapt that Super-Max spec screenplay that was floating around for a few years that was centered on Oliver Queen.
