First Look At John Barrowman On The CW's ARROW

The first images of John Barrowman's character have been revealed, as well as the episode he will debut in. Who will John Barrowman play on The CW's Arrow? Well, hit the jump for more fuel to add to your speculation...

Below is the first look at John Barrowman's character on The CW's Arrow, which debuted this Wednesday. However, we still don't know the character's name or backstory. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that he will appear in episode 5 called "Damaged". In the second photograph, he is seen speaking to Oliver's mother, Moira. Is he connected to the big reveal at the end of Wednesday's episode? Don't forget that Barrowman's character code name at the moment is still "The Well-Dressed Man" who "is as mysterious as he is wealthy" as well as "an acquaintance of the Queen family and a prominent figure in Starling City". Arrow will replay tonight at 8pm on The CW. The premiere earned a 1.3 rating in it's 18-49 demographic, the biggest CW opener since The Vampire Diaries.

Bruce Wayne?
Bane2099 - 10/12/2012, 1:15 PM
Ha, thats what i was thinking to, but when it said hes a prominent figure in Starling City, im guessing its not Bruce, he'd be prominent in Gotham.
DaenerysTargaryen - 10/12/2012, 1:16 PM
let me love you . Pictures, Images and Photos
typicalfanboy - 10/12/2012, 1:29 PM
probably count vertigo. i'm just guessing it'll be a prominent green arrow villain, not an ally.
spidey1994 - 10/12/2012, 1:43 PM
Why do I have the feeling he's going to be the version of Onomatopoeia?
dav1dca1n - 10/12/2012, 1:52 PM
@Spidey1994 I doubt it because Kevin Smith owns that character exclusively. Though it would be EPIC for Onomatopoeia to show up :D

John Borrowman as Bruce Wayne???. ...Batman???
RobinNumbah6 - 10/12/2012, 2:07 PM
I think CW legally cant do Batman. I think I read that somewhere

I set up John Barrowmans mortgage about 4 or 5 years ago, he got paid more for doing panto Jack and The Beanstalk than he did being in the early episodes of Dr Who. His wage went up a hell of a lot for Touchwood and the other Dr Who episodes.
Thing that made me laugh the most was his passport picture, he was really young looking with long curtain style haircut. He looked very silly!
A few months after that, my mate got to set up Nick Caves "holiday home" mortgage... he won that contest...
ChanceX74 - 10/12/2012, 2:45 PM
@Robin, you do realize that the CW is a limited liability joint venture with WB, don't you? CW stands for "CBS and Warner Bros".
ChanceX74 - 10/12/2012, 2:48 PM
As to the article, I'm still holding out for post-prime punch Maxwell Lord since they are going apes--t crazy on squeezing every DC character reference they possibly can into this show (which is what I feel may be the show's unfortunate undoing).
soberchimera - 10/12/2012, 3:07 PM
Vertigo or Maxwell Lord I'm guessing.
Tomontherun99 - 10/12/2012, 3:43 PM
I agree with soberchimera61 and ChanceX74, I'm thinking Maxwell Lord. I'm really hoping he isn't Wayne but he does look kinda like pre-crisis Bruce

this show is ridiculous. i cannot understand how people like it. terrible writing, worse acting, shit directing...

smallvile had a spot in my heart but i have to admit it wasn't always great television. this show is just shit.
FoxForce5 - 10/12/2012, 3:59 PM
Barrowman is pretty awesome and Torchwood (ie. Captain Jack) kicks ass, so I'm looking forward to whatever he's playing here.
fwg22392 - 10/12/2012, 4:55 PM
For once, I agree with Grif: shit show.
QuanZen - 10/12/2012, 5:26 PM
Grif cracks me up :)
mgeoff88 - 10/12/2012, 5:29 PM

IgnurRant - 10/12/2012, 5:38 PM
Count Vertigo.
PenditaMarah - 10/12/2012, 6:14 PM
He looks like bruce wayne.he should play batman.he has the looks of batman, indeed.john borrowman as bruce fvckin wayne!!
zachman2013 - 10/12/2012, 10:30 PM
If this show does indeed take off and gives GA a main spotlight for 2+ seasons, I think we see bruce turn up in Season 3.
HeadlessJensen - 10/13/2012, 9:02 AM
John Barrowman's gold. No clue who he's playing, I just hope they don't waste him.
Nerdslayer - 10/13/2012, 12:16 PM
That's a pretty big watch he is wearing. Perhaps the Clock King?
KelvTwelve - 10/13/2012, 5:09 PM
As terrible and boring as the show started out, what the show is doing EXTREMELY right for now is the fighting and what will be the villains. Except Merlyn. The action greatly outdid both Smallville and the Dark Knight Trilogy in only the first episode! It looks like it will have a great plot going for it as well (with the list, and how it's his motivation - a conspiracy plot differs it from Batman immensely).

The only problem is how it completely betrays a lot of the Green Arrow lore with the characters. Speedy and Laurel Lance hurt the most.
abw2 - 10/13/2012, 5:16 PM

@Dynamo: ...Somehow I don't think that Bruce Wayne would be, willingly, working with a woman who had her own "baby boy" as she called him kidnapped and tortured for information, here, ya know?... *cool*/P :)
