and most were better than the one we got!
darCNite1989 - 12/29/2011, 5:51 PM
And we didn't get this because........?
luckylu - 12/29/2011, 5:54 PM
call me crazy but kinda like the version they used in the movie. some of these pictures are too "insect-ish"
ThreeBigTacos - 12/29/2011, 5:56 PM
#2 is the best one in my opinion. Right parts scary, and yet bad-ass looking.
CaptainTall - 12/29/2011, 5:59 PM
#2 for the win.
aRandomSinisterClone - 12/29/2011, 6:00 PM
wow, im a big GL defendor, but who was the guy that picked the movie version N said "yea thats def the best one". i bet a lil bit of him died inside.
InnerVenom123 - 12/29/2011, 6:00 PM
#2 is my fav. Far better than what we got.
comicoverlord - 12/29/2011, 6:00 PM
So they put all of these in a blender and that's what we got.
Spidey91 - 12/29/2011, 6:00 PM
all of them are better than the one in the movie -.-
#2 and #3 for me!
P862010 - 12/29/2011, 6:01 PM
was galactic all over again

newsflash a big cloud of smoke is not threatening
Viltrumite - 12/29/2011, 6:04 PM
Why is it that we got a massive brown cloud instead of the more insectoid one featured in the second picture?
Sanderman - 12/29/2011, 6:06 PM
Kinda looks like the creature in mass effect 2
JatevinM - 12/29/2011, 6:09 PM
They seriously should have used the 2nd one.
ManofSteel23 - 12/29/2011, 6:11 PM
so instead they went for a big pile of ash with a massive head
Rhys - 12/29/2011, 6:12 PM
They all suck...just like the movie.
TheMadman - 12/29/2011, 6:14 PM
I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going....
Fogs - 12/29/2011, 6:21 PM
Didn't like any, actually... Including the movie one.
Luigi - 12/29/2011, 6:23 PM
According to this thing under my username, I'm a "troll" somehow. So I guess all I'm allowed to say is "That's nice."
Tevii - 12/29/2011, 6:25 PM
These all are decent designs, but arent parallax. Would it be so horrible to be at least similar to the comic? WB sucks
Daniellantern - 12/29/2011, 6:35 PM
The first one should be use in the movie. The #2 #3 and #7 are my favorite.

@luckylu: "insect-ish"? You might check GL books especially in Sinestro Corps war and Tales of Sinestro Corps. And you'll see the look of Parallax.
OptimusPool - 12/29/2011, 6:39 PM
Cooler then how he looked in the movie!
bogusman - 12/29/2011, 6:49 PM
All of them are better than the movie version, that is for certain
deanwilkins - 12/29/2011, 6:57 PM
Incredible. Couldn't they have just tried... I don't know... going with what was in the comic?
JerBear - 12/29/2011, 6:58 PM
PsyGuy - 12/29/2011, 6:59 PM
I like the movie version best.
40oz - 12/29/2011, 7:16 PM
They could of made him look anyway they wanted to, but the movie would still suck
BatSlam - 12/29/2011, 7:30 PM
yeah, Parallax's form is basically a huge scary insect, and Parallax isn't a guardian who got seduced by the yellow fear power, parallax is supose to just be the embodiment of the yellow fear power. Just as Ion is the Green Power of willpower and he looks very similar to a large Koi fish. I don't know why that part of the story was ever changed and they also went all Galactus movie version on it and made it a big cloud thing.
StrangeBlackPantherDoctor - 12/29/2011, 7:34 PM
All of those were better.
dahamma - 12/29/2011, 7:45 PM
Wow ALL of those were better!! lol oh the irony
xXkryptoniteXx - 12/29/2011, 7:55 PM
This just show the director was not the right guy for the job, any of these are better then what we got. WTF WB?
Minghagz - 12/29/2011, 8:17 PM
2nd and 3rd are probably the best but I actually like the 4th and 5th
Comix - 12/29/2011, 8:22 PM
Either they are idiots or they did any many miny mo with there eyes closed to pic the final look
darthbobtarkas - 12/29/2011, 8:24 PM
Why was the film version so sucky, then?
RyanLantern77 - 12/29/2011, 8:48 PM
Still sucks
McMeatFace - 12/29/2011, 8:57 PM
Todas estas versiones chupan las pelotas burro!
Jolt17 - 12/29/2011, 9:16 PM
I like the 7th one most, though even if it had been picked instead of what we got in the movie but the script stayed, it wouldn't have changed anything, sadly.
Jolt17 - 12/29/2011, 9:24 PM
So some (if not all) were created for the early script, eh? Notice the name of the files ('legion') and the writing on the bottom of the third image.

I'm not sure, but if that giant whatsoever in the movie was Legion instead of Parallax - still messed up, I know - probably I could accept it better.
AEStark - 12/29/2011, 9:48 PM
How much more concept art do you need? Just use the book. None of these yellow crabs look like the parallax in the book.
Minghagz - 12/29/2011, 10:40 PM
You said it bro! I didn't mind Hector in the movie but I think they should have focused more on some rigid training with Hal for some good characterization and build on the tension between Hal and Sinestro's relationship so it could lead up to the Sinestro corps / yellow lantern.
CeltiC527 - 12/29/2011, 10:45 PM
I thought the one they used in the movie was fine.
And you cant even compare Parallax to Glactus, Parallax had a face, he could talk, and was actually a threat that did something.
