And uh... First.
McGee - 6/2/2014, 11:57 AM
Gusto...which actor do you think is best for Hal Jordan?
McGee - 6/2/2014, 11:58 AM
I say Jon Hamm.
AnthonyLantern - 6/2/2014, 12:02 PM
Terrible story. The creative teams have gotten better since then, but this is just awful
Gusto - 6/2/2014, 12:02 PM
Godamnit! I actually want this!
[frick] Facebook in the goat's ass.
Gusto - 6/2/2014, 12:03 PM'll get the same response
I get from everyone for my answer to
that. "He's too old!"
But, James Purefoy is my ideal choice.
Gusto - 6/2/2014, 12:04 PM
But, I'd take Hamm any godamn day over Reynolds.
JorL5150 - 6/2/2014, 12:04 PM
It's only the second or third time I've been first- you'd think it's all "hey Act like you've been here before" but it's still... Y know - exciting
JorL5150 - 6/2/2014, 12:07 PM
It would have been vanity to have notes prepared for "first" but I guess now I would have been better off.

But then the stream of consciousness posts work too. Organic.
Like a David lynch movie.

And Ryan gosling for Hal
JorL5150 - 6/2/2014, 12:08 PM
Maybe jake ghyllenhall
Gusto - 6/2/2014, 12:10 PM
Not that I blame Reynolds for that piece of junk/JorLish movie.
yossarian - 6/2/2014, 12:12 PM
I hope I win. I'm tired of buying toilet paper.
InfiniteMonkey - 6/2/2014, 12:30 PM
Let me spare you the suspense mate, send it to me. NOW!
QuestiontheAnswer - 6/2/2014, 12:49 PM
How about Martin Lawrence for John Stewart. Hal can be Al Pacino.
bropous - 6/2/2014, 1:09 PM
Gusto thinks that the best actor for Hal Jordan is Martin Landau.
bropous - 6/2/2014, 1:10 PM
Gusto, I also would take Mia Hamm any day over Debbie Reynolds.
bropous - 6/2/2014, 1:11 PM
I actually agree with Gusto.

James Purefoy.

However, I also would select James Purefoy for ANY role aside from that of Princess Leia.
JorL5150 - 6/2/2014, 1:17 PM
Ryan Reynolds in green shmlantern was more entertaining than gustos regular appearances on Maury pauvich
JorL5150 - 6/2/2014, 1:26 PM
Jesus gusto!

How many times are you NOT the father and you're STILL surprised ??!!
McGee - 6/2/2014, 1:56 PM
I wanted Tatum for Guy Gardner. True story.
JorL5150 - 6/2/2014, 2:11 PM
Thomas Haden church for guy Gardner

Gusto for green lantern g'nort
McGee for John Stewart
AlternateNo4 - 6/2/2014, 2:54 PM
true blood reuinion. kwanten for jordan, skarsgard for arthur. done.

allstate guy for john stewart. and get some nfl guy for gardner. maybe jake long.
AlternateNo4 - 6/2/2014, 2:57 PM
or the bengals quarterback with the red hair. even better.
AlternateNo4 - 6/2/2014, 3:03 PM
there's your guy gardner. wonder if he can act lol.

AlternateNo4 - 6/2/2014, 3:05 PM
and me for larvox.
staypuffed - 6/2/2014, 4:09 PM
CombatWombat - 6/2/2014, 4:25 PM
Reynolds sucked as Hal. since when was Hal Jordan a smarmy jokey jokester frat boy...
CombatWombat - 6/2/2014, 4:29 PM
who throws a hissy fit and quits when the going gets rough
then again that's the script's fault
AlternateNo4 - 6/2/2014, 4:31 PM
well, since always kinda.

the problem was that he ISN'T a hesitant, whiny, self-doubting quitter... and that's the writer and director's fault. that's the reason that even a lot of us GL diehards were ok with reynolds. better script, better movie.

i couldn't stand the pouffy hair though. not sure why that had to happen.
AlternateNo4 - 6/2/2014, 4:32 PM
yeah you beat me to it haha.
CombatWombat - 6/2/2014, 5:41 PM
I think of Hal Jordan as the no nonsense military guy…he's sarcastic sure, but not a clown. A ladies man, sure, not that he'd boast about it…he hides his vulnerable side, not that he doesn't have a heart…he's Chuck Yeager with super powers
CombatWombat - 6/2/2014, 5:47 PM

bam, Hal Jordan
AlternateNo4 - 6/2/2014, 7:09 PM
to me, stewart is the serious, no-nonsense military-guy that's now a dull white-collar office stiff. hal's a joker... maybe not the constant goofy one-liner guy like barry, but more of a cocky put-down artist: snide, sarcastic, uber full of himself. and gardner is the clowning, thuggish alpha douchebag bro that i wish other people hated as much as i do haha.

guess it's just individual interpretation.
amebaboy - 6/2/2014, 8:19 PM
Chace Crawford, Matt Lanter, Luke Evans or Chris Pine for Hal Jordan.
BatmanHeisenberg - 6/2/2014, 8:51 PM
I hope Gusto wins this. And I want Bradley Cooper for Hal, and John Kraniski for Flash, first, even if only one was playing one of the characters, and not the other, it'd be perfect, since they are great actors. But also, they are very good friends, and they would probably have great chemistry together.
BatmanHeisenberg - 6/2/2014, 8:53 PM
Bradley just screams Hal Jordan to me.

As does John.(Barry)

lxgnzlslxgnzls - 6/2/2014, 10:39 PM
omg i will never win i was blocked and have no idea y? :(
MightyZeus - 6/2/2014, 11:15 PM
I always thought Chris Pine would make a good choice for Hal Jordan.
Bread - 6/3/2014, 7:23 PM
