It's a long shot that probably won't work, but I'm going to try anyway cause I've got nothing to lose. I'd like to start a petition to save Green Lantern: the animated series and Young Justice.
I'd like for us the fans to have a voice, true the executives at Cartoon Network won't listen to us but they will hear us, I know I'm not the only person out there who has loved these shows, who has gotten so much entertainment from watching them, and has looked forward to seeing new episodes and found bitter disappointment when news of their cancellation was announced. And even if you weren't a fan, didn't you at some point have a show that you enjoyed cancelled for reasons that are beyond logic. Like I said, I know that this petition probably won't change anything, but at least we will be able to have our say. I'd like and I'm asking humbly that anyone taking the time to read this, please take a little more time and sign it. Thanks for listening

Don´t care for Green Lantern, the shows pretty awful. But I´m surprised about Young Justice. Its an excellent show. What are kids doing these days, to busy having sex, playing computer games, getting drunk, and kicking older people in the shin. :)

This has been done with Avengers EMH, unfortunately I don't think there is a chance with these petitions. Avengers needed somewhere around 100.000 signatures and it got a lot more, and the show still got canned. Too bad, I enjoyed Young Justice a lot

Stupid editorial. These shows are already shit canned, no way around it. The best we can do is support the new shows that are taking their spots.

Personally I'll be buying Young Justice on DVD. I'm fine with that. I don't need it on the air FOREVER necessarily. Better the show went off on a high note rather than stay on for another 5 or more seasons and gets stale.

Besides, with the slew of films DC has planned for the big screen including the long-awaited gem- JLA...the small screen doesn't really seem all that necessary anymore.

Personally i'm excited for the new Beware the Batman show, it looks great and unique for a Batman show.

Petitions never work. You wanna know the best way to convince these head honchos to bring back YJ or GL? Buy the DVDs. Huge DVD sales can resurrect shows that were canceled. It worked for Family Guy and many other shows.

Just my two cents btw, agree or not this was just my opinion.

The reason WB only cares about DVD sales is because it's more money in their pockets. They only care about RESULTS. DVD sales ARE results. They don't care about our petitions, they could care less about signatures, it's petty to them. Petitions may work on people who have hearts. WB is in the end, still a huge company.

My advice- buy the DVDs, convince your friends to buy them as well. WB wants results- GIVE IT TO THEM. Sending a bunch of signatures does nothing and they shit can those petitions a lot faster than they shit canned these shows.

This article reminds me of the people who posted editorials before saying "STOP MICHAEL BAY FROM DESTROYING THE NINJA TURTLES!!!"

No wonder people in the outside world look down on us...smh.

btw- Bay's turtle script was terrible but I'll still check it out. It's still a movie and once it fails it'll get rebooted anyway which will work out fine for us in the end :P

Oh also, I don't get why you are telling us to sign your petition but you didn't even post a petition for us to sign lol. If you didn't finish it yet, you should type the editorial after you complete the petition and then post some kind of link to it.

I think we all can agree it would be nice if both shows lived to see another day. Plus it would be great if DC Nation became a two hour series instead of just one. Having the two new series joining these ones would have been great.

Also I want to know what is going on with the video game Young Justice: Legacy? That game was coming out on just about every system out there. I thought that was to get more people into the tv show. But with Young Justice getting canceled did that game get canceled too?

There already is a petition at Change.org (http://www.change.org/petitions/cartoon-network-warner-bros-bring-back-young-justice-and-green-lantern-the-animated-series). They have had their share of successes with petitions along the way (http://www.change.org/victories).

DC: You've recently introduce scripts on Green Lantern that can lead to Blackest Night and several other epic story lines. Young Justice was the only Titan show NOT afraid to show the Justice League. And, the plot line is something 40 year olds can appreciate. Is there a limit on the number of DC animated shows on TV? Come on!!!
