Guardians of the Galaxy has taken the box office by storm with the third highest opening of 2014. Meanwhile, it's also this year's best reviewed blockbuster. What do you guys think though? Is the hype justified or were you disappointed? Here's your chance to let us know...

Some of the CBM team loved Guardians of the Galaxy, and some didn't. Overall though, the response to the James Gunn helmed movie has been overwhelmingly positive, with some even comparing it to The Avengers as one of Marvel's best releases. Personally, that's a sentiment I would have to agree with, and it will soon join Joss Whedon's superhero ensemble as one of the few comic book movies I've seen three times on the big screen. With a $94 million debut and 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, it seems fair to say that most people agree with my love of Guardians of the Galaxy, but we'd like to hear YOUR thoughts on the movie through the following poll!

Loved it!

I really had no issues with this movie. Well, maybe Ronan could have used a bit more development, but I can easily forgive that, since this was a movie that had to introduce five main heroes with prior solo films, and they were all excellent in their own ways. Ronan was a good enough villain for a movie like this. Overall, I loved GOTG and I can't wait to watch it again!!
Ranger14 - 8/4/2014, 6:33 PM
We loved it! Just watched it this morning and I am going back tomorrow to watch it in the IMAX again and watch for more of the details I might have missed. Just an all-out fun and entertaining show that touches on all of your emotions.
blackandyellow - 8/4/2014, 6:34 PM
I haven't seen it, but I'm going to rate it a solid 17 out of 21 stars.
Omarvls - 8/4/2014, 6:34 PM
Some critics where saying that after 10 films

Thanos still has no infinity stones

That just shows you how EPIC Marvel's Cinematic Universe truly is and that it's barely getting started

Pasto - 8/4/2014, 6:35 PM
1. Guardians of The Galaxy

Love it. Top three marvel movies.

Captain America:TWS
Nomis - 8/4/2014, 6:38 PM
Marvel should have spent their time and money on either a Sub Mariner, Black Panther or Dr. Strange movie.

Verdict: A somewhat entertaining movie that tries too hard to be funny and heart felt at the same time but comes off as neither.

someone will probably shoot me for this but i still think X-Men Days of Future Past was better. my first reaction to that movie was an applause out of sheer joy. the applause I gave to Guardians of the Galaxy was b/c everyone else was applauding. i might have to watch it again. still loved it though.
AsgardianHobo - 8/4/2014, 6:39 PM

sKeemAn - 8/4/2014, 6:44 PM
I have to see it again to call it one of the best in the MCU .
blackandyellow - 8/4/2014, 6:44 PM
batz, I'm no computer surgeon, but I don't think that's a gif.
rockerdude22 - 8/4/2014, 6:44 PM
@Ezio Highly agree. There was a lot of heart in this movie, something that's definitely lacking in a lot of other blockbusters these days.
GeekyCheekyChic - 8/4/2014, 6:45 PM
Awesome. Don't agree ? Get off this planet.
batz11 - 8/4/2014, 6:45 PM
@Ranger14 good deal about seeing it in Imax tomorrow, if you guys haven't, I HIGHLY recommend it...the Imax 3D (I'm talkin' movie theater 'huge' Imax, not the giant tall ones) was a simply amazing experience, the size of the screen and the 3D actually ADDED to the over-all entertainment, definitely go see it in Imax 3D if you can!
DannyRand1225 - 8/4/2014, 6:46 PM
rockerdude-me neither..i am mixed on MOS.. but that is funny
MajorTom - 8/4/2014, 6:47 PM
**************fyi this was a repost with spoilers***************

You know what screw it! Love Marvel like the rest, but GOG was an overly bloated, bombastic, cartoon. No real sence of danger like most Marvel movies and too formalistic like Pixar. No one really dies. I get the sense that there is too much of the Marvel brand, and senseless cameos for no particular point at all. There was lots of dick, pricks, sperm, and the middle finger jokes, so I'll assume that fart and masturbation jokes are on the horizon. The Yondu (Space Mr. T) or whatever his name was scene where kills 20 dudes with and arrow was LAZY..........other than that I enjoyed it.
DannyRand1225 - 8/4/2014, 6:47 PM
rocker-yeah ..all the moments hit me..it was a true rollercoaster ride imo
