I wonder if this will affect the release of 28 months later since its starting to move along.

28 Months Later > WWZ 2

I hope this time we get slow zombies and some of the stories of the book, which was a masterpiece.

I didn't think the first one was that bad. Different from your prototypical zombie flick.

And I never read it but the movie World War Z was awesome, there was a reason both the critics and the general audience loved it.

WWZ was terrible. From Pitt not putting his phone on silent, to the idiots singing religious nonsense near the wall, and Pitt surviving a plane crash after throwing a grenade. Beyond dumb.

What are they going to call it?

World War Z: Electric Boogaloo

I, actually, liked the first film (even though it had nothing to do with the book, beyond sharing the title). I just couldn't resist referencing "Electric Boogaloo" again.

The first just had 2 faults, not enough parts with the zombies and a ridiculous pg13 rating.no self respecting zombie movie should be less than an r-rating

World War Z was terrible. I'll still go see this though.

I still haven't watched the first movie, and I likely won't until I randomly catch it on TV someday. Funny thing is: I probably would even have watched it on the big screen back then, had they just given it another name.

I'd actually read the book for the first time not too long before the movie was done, and I didn't follow the making of the movie at all. So when I watched I the trailer for the first time I was genuinely intrigued about how they were adaptating it.

"This is your hero, Brad Pitt - he needs to travel the world to fight the zombie outbreak, so that he can be reunited with his family! Fast zombies everywhere! Can Brad Pitt save the day?"

Ooookay, Paramount and Brad Pitt, how about you take that [frick]ed up Hollywood bastardisation and stuff it up your collective asses?!

Well, that was about my first reaction, and despite the movie looking like some fun in its own right I never really looked back. There's making an adaptation and there's sticking a popular name on something that bears little to no resemblance to the source material the name belongs to.
