DARK SHADOWS Trailer To (Finally) Premiere This Thursday

If you were wondering where the heck the trailer for Tim Burton's upcoming re-imagining of the cult tv show was, wonder no more. We will see it in two days..

Many fans have been anticipating the trailer for Tim Burton's Dark Shadows for a while now. The movie opens May 11th so it was a bit strange that we hadn't seen something from it already. Well this Thursday the 15th of March we will see the very first trailer on the Ellen Degeneres show.

From her website..

Also, Ellen has the exclusive trailer for the new Tim Burton film, "Dark Shadows," starring Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Helena Bonham Carter!

Now if you don't relish the idea of sitting through that to see it fear not, it will most likely be online soon after, and if so you will most assuredly catch it first here on CBM.

This May, Tim Burton and Johnny Depp team up to bring us their re-imagining of the classic series DARK SHADOWS. The story of Barnabas Collins and his Collinsport companions has enthralled audiences since it first aired in the late 60s. Now, FM is celebrating the return of DARK SHADOWS with THE most complete coverage you’ll find anywhere. With new and exclusive FM interviews from the original cast members Jonathan Frid, Lara Parker, David Selby, Katherine Leigh Scott, and more, plus a conversation with new DS director, Tim Burton, issue 261 is the place for all things DARK SHADOWS. To celebrate, one of FM’s favorite cover artists—Jason Edmiston (254 Vincent Price, 255 Voldemort)—brings us his vision of “The Barnabi”, Jonathan Frid and Johnny Depp as we bridge the divide between the SHADOWS of the past and the SHADOWS of the future.

I'm also a Burton fa, for the most part. But I would prefer if Dark Shadows was serious with comedic bits rather than a flat out comedy.

Sweeney Todd is one of my favorites of his, just a [frick]ed up, funny, sick, tragic, great movie.
