Emma Stone In Talks For Guillermo Del Toro's New Horror Flick CRIMSON PEAK

Emma Stone In Talks For Guillermo Del Toro's New Horror Flick CRIMSON PEAK

Variety report that the highly in-demand Amazing Spider-Man actress is in early talks to star in the fan-favorite director's new haunted house thriller from Legendary Pictures. Read on for more details..

According to Variety, Guillermo del Toro may have found a leading lady to terrify in his new haunted house movie. Apparently Emma Stone - most recently seen in Gangster Squad - is in "early talks" for the role, so it's not a done deal yet by any means. Plot details are sketchy, but del Toro recently revealed that the film would focus just as much on romance as it would on scares, so expect a dashing male co-star for Stone to be announced at some point too. Del Toro and Lucinda Coxon are at work ironing out the original script from del Toro and Matthew Robins, and the movie is expected to shoot in February 2014.

He's only actually signed up to direct this..everything else is producing gigs, and he says he WANTS to direct a load of other stuff. But yeah, I wish he'd just drop everything and focus on The Dark World.
RorMachine - 1/15/2013, 6:34 PM
Not The Dark World..what was it he said his Justice League Dark movie was gonna be called?

I think he is just producer in this one. Like The Orphanage, Dont Fear the Dark and Mama.
He has produced a lots of different stuff.
AlexDeLarge87 - 1/16/2013, 1:39 AM
At the Mountains of Madness or that Dark Universe film needs to be next in his list.

Should give this and Beauty and the Beast to someone else.
AlexDeLarge87 - 1/16/2013, 1:40 AM
He is produced more stuff than he has directed.
ComicBookGoth - 1/16/2013, 6:31 AM
Can he just get "At The Mountains Of Madness" out of the way 1st.

So i can be happy.

TheHawkWithin - 1/16/2013, 1:05 PM
I love how this guy promises films, but then he only ends up making last minute ones like Mama. [frick] Del Toro.
