First Episode OF ENORMOUS Released

Machinima has released the very first episode of it's new kaiju survival web series, Enormous. The live-action project is based on the former Image comic book series from Tim Daniel and artist Mehdi Cheggour.

While starting life in 2012 at Image Comics, Enormous will finish up the balance of its comic book run at 215 Ink. The Machinma web series stars Ceren Lee, Erica Gimpel, Steve Brand, Charles Melton, Todd Farmer, Simon Barret, Nathan Moore, Billy Miller, Dallas Liu and Joe Swamberg. BenDavid Grabinski directed the pilot. Fanboy enthusiast Adrian Askariah served as producer. For a full list of cast and crew, CLICK HERE.

"The hit graphic novella series ENORMOUS, tells of how humanity is plunged down the food chain when an ecological event creates gargantuan beasts that decimate civilization. The series explores how humans react and cope with survival from multiple points of views and from multiple settings around the planet. In the tone of CLOVERFIELD and THE WALKING DEAD, ENORMOUS focuses on strong characters and complicated relationships with the monsters as the background."

if you're making a web series with a limited budget, why go for a story involving giant creatures which would require cgi?
gac - 3/21/2014, 4:56 AM
Because it's what they want to do. It's a challenge and they want to take on the challenge.

The art pic of that group of people looks odd.
Not impressed.

Is this worth watching, because I wouldn't want to waste nine minutes of my life looking at trash.

Pretty good for a web series. Obviously, the cgi won't be great. But, that doesn't take away from potentially interesting story, acting and creature design.

It was a interesting first episode. Will be watching to see how it goes.

@VictorHugo Was that remark really necessary? It is a small budget and at least they are trying to make something entertaining. would hurt you not to be so negative and little more supportive .

I am supportive of Machinima, love their videos since forever, but in this one it seems they´re biting more than they can chew.
