First Official Stills From CURSE OF CHUCKY

First Official Stills From CURSE OF CHUCKY

We saw a low quality poster for the upcoming sixth installment in the always entertaining Child's Play series a while ago, and now IGN have debuted the first two official images from the movie. Check out a de-gruesomed Chucky after the jump.

Nica (Fiona Dourif) is grieving over the gruesome suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) arrives with her young family in tow to help settle their mother’s affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nica’s plans for the future, Barb’s young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named Chucky (Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail. But as a string of brutal murders begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the bloodshed. What she doesn’t know is that Chucky has a personal score to settle. He’s determined to finish a job he started more than 20 years earlier, and this time he’s going to see it through to the bloody and shocking end.

Curse of Chucky hits Blu-ray and DVD later this fall.

Jesus, let this franchise die. It did nothing other dragged out film series' haven't...E.g Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday te 13th...
brokeBatman - 6/27/2013, 5:50 AM

Such A Gigantic Fail, After The First One, These Films Were A Joke....IDK Why They Keep Trying, They Will Never Be Scary At All...
Skeletor - 6/27/2013, 6:09 AM

Nice Capitalization, Brah.
PeterDarker - 6/27/2013, 6:10 AM
As long as they keep the camp to a minimum. I hate how the 80's monsters became parodies of themselves. Cracking jokes all the time. First Child's Play was horrifying. A lot of "My Buddies" saw the trash can that opening weekend.
CoulsonLives - 6/27/2013, 6:12 AM
Scary ass doll! Why is he alive again? This was my childhood nightmare, so, never bothered to watch...
SeaSerpentine - 6/27/2013, 6:20 AM
I liked the first three, hated the last two, which is why I'm glad this films ignores those.

Also, one reason why I don't like Chucky as much as Freddy Krueger or Pinhead is because I find him to be lacking in likability.
CoulsonLives - 6/27/2013, 6:24 AM
What's his story again? He got struck by lighting and became evil???
Sitterson - 6/27/2013, 6:32 AM
Another Chucky movie eh? I'm sorry, but do they have to make this? Can't they try to start a new and original horror franchise instead of bringing back Chucky?
CoulsonLives - 6/27/2013, 6:39 AM
Tell me his story please...
RorMachine - 6/27/2013, 6:44 AM
Google Child's Play..and there you go.

I liked the other movies. They were either genuinely creepy or win.
CoulsonLives - 6/27/2013, 6:45 AM
Rather not have Chucky on my history...
JoeMomma29 - 6/27/2013, 6:45 AM
@ CoulsonLives

Here is all you need to know!

Charles Lee Ray (also known as "The Lakeshore Strangler", and nicknamed "Chucky") is a fictional character and the primary antagonist of the Child's Play series. Chucky is a Good Guy doll possessed by the spirit of a serial killer who tries to transfer his soul from the doll to a human body, mainly the body of boy
CharlesLord - 6/27/2013, 6:45 AM
wow im waitin to see where they take this lol
JoeMomma29 - 6/27/2013, 6:46 AM

@ RedSkull

Yeah horror movie franchises do not die out like their main villains/killers, they just keep coming back!

CoulsonLives - 6/27/2013, 6:59 AM
Thanks, that makes sense... LOL
My childhood relationship with this doll was terrible... One day, I was watching TV, and Santa was there... And then... BAM! Chucky stabs him, thus, ruining my innocence...
CoulsonLives - 6/27/2013, 7:01 AM
This guy and Pennywise still scare me... That's why I hate clowns and dolls...
JoeMomma29 - 6/27/2013, 7:12 AM

TheRationalNerd - 6/27/2013, 7:38 AM
First one will always be my favorite! I hope they won't use crappy cgi! Some movie characters are meant to be animatronic!
PerfectAss - 6/27/2013, 7:48 AM

"Curse of Chucky hits Blu-ray and DVD later this fall."

All this time I thought it was getting a Theatrical release.
TheDpool - 6/27/2013, 9:14 AM
@AlexRival what the [frick] movie is that from????
TheWarriorofAnarchy - 6/27/2013, 9:23 AM
It doesn't look like it follows part 3 either or else he'd have to be pieced back together again.
MrReese - 6/27/2013, 9:25 AM
Chucky is bad ass.Hope justice is done to the character.Definitely checking it out.
TheWarriorofAnarchy - 6/27/2013, 9:25 AM
also, "A job he started 20 years earlier" so there will most likely be mention of Andy at least. Maybe he'll kill Andy at the beginning like Laurie being killed at the beginning of Halloween Resurrection
CaptainObvious - 6/27/2013, 9:44 AM
I never thought these movies were scary. How is a children's toy supposed to be taken seriously?
AsianVersionOfET - 6/27/2013, 10:32 AM
The first movie scarred me for life when I was a child.
[frick] chucky.
DEATHbyEXILE - 6/27/2013, 11:53 AM

TheSuperguy - 6/27/2013, 12:21 PM
This movie looks like it will be awesome, perfect for Halloween time.
PrincessLeather - 6/27/2013, 12:53 PM
i LOVE how in the first movie he used to toss the mom around and smack her up. it was hilarious to me that a doll could do that. Was his weight carried over to the doll with his soul or something?
