The plot sounds beyond stupid
kylo0607 - 1/12/2014, 2:26 PM
I don't think this is needed. A long time passed since the movie. They should let it rest.

Klone - 1/12/2014, 2:37 PM
There was only one good part about the first movie. If you can guess correctly, you get a cookie.

I hear that this is going to be on a brand new network called El Ray. An English-language network targeting Latino viewers.

Looks like it's trying to be edgy and cool but the acting, dialogue, and scenes come across with a big 'student film' vibe.

Well...good luck with this.
Optimus83 - 1/12/2014, 2:48 PM
Cool. ...Another Vampire Series

Patrickoneal84 - 1/12/2014, 3:05 PM
What station is this gonna be on? I enjoyed the original movie as well as the cheesy sequels. I'll give it a shot.
DEATHbyEXILE - 1/12/2014, 3:14 PM

As MAC put it, the only good scene of the movie.

Silentman - 1/12/2014, 3:26 PM
I don't get how this could be a series.
Gibman - 1/12/2014, 3:36 PM
What's the El Ray network, seriously I've heard of it
Jollem - 1/12/2014, 3:44 PM
first movie is great
GeekyCheekyChic - 1/12/2014, 4:01 PM
movie was great. this is not.
Kyos - 1/12/2014, 4:02 PM
I love the movie! It's stupid as hell, but it's dear to my heart. <3

This looks... weird. So it's an expanded version of the movie's story or what? Half a season Gecko mayhem without vampires, half a season vampire carnage? I'm not sure how it's supposed to work, also what's the point?

The original was loco, but it had Clooney, Tarantino, Keitel, SALMA HAYEK etc, and a nice soundtrack. Hearing whoever-it-is say the "you - be cool!" line... no no.

Also - "El Rey" Network? ^^
cj5590 - 1/12/2014, 4:06 PM
Elongating a movie that was perfect already with young pretty faces? [Freak] right the hell off.
Bloodraven - 1/12/2014, 4:10 PM
Have to MartianAbominationClone and DEATHbyEXILE.

The movie was total shit for the most part, but Salma Hayek's table dance is the sexiest scene in the history of cinema.
VISIONaryNPa - 1/12/2014, 4:10 PM
that looks like complete crap straight out of a film school for students who try to make "amateur" films. DAFUQ.

abw2 - 1/12/2014, 4:33 PM

The first movie was alright, especially the sexy dance scene with Salma Hayek - Beyond that the sequels were just one step past horrible - I am a bit curious about the show though, perhaps, in-spite of myself... *maybe*/P :)

CyberBishop - 1/12/2014, 5:02 PM
Not feeling this one at all..
655321 - 1/12/2014, 5:02 PM
This show looks just as bad as the Zombieland show. Since its on a channel no one watches Im sure it will last a season.
MrCBM56 - 1/12/2014, 5:20 PM

When it ended?
Pathogen - 1/12/2014, 5:39 PM

loki668 - 1/12/2014, 10:44 PM
From Dusk Till Cancellation: About two weeks.
mgeoff88 - 1/12/2014, 11:32 PM
This doesn't look that good. I enjoyed the first movie, but the sequels were crap.

The only reason I would watch this is for Adrianne Palicki.

@DEATHbyEXILE Salma Hayek in that movie was unforgettable, ha ha.
BeyondTheGrave - 1/13/2014, 12:28 AM
Soooo...their stretching the plot of the movie into a series for some reason? I originally thought it was supposed to be different but that synopsis is pretty much the first movie.
FinalAvenger - 1/13/2014, 3:28 AM
Oh... no...noo ahhh no... It just looks so B grade and I love the movies... yes all 3. and still this is just... no.
