New CARRIE Poster Hits

I think we know her name by now! Another new one-sheet for the Kimberley Pierce directed Carrie remake has popped up online, giving us another look at Kick-Ass 2's Chloe Grace Moretz as the titular telekinetic. Check it out after the jump..

The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White and her daughter Carrie. Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson, but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell, regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross, to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.

Carrie is directed by Kimberley Pierce and also stars Julianne Moore, Judy Greer and Portia Doubleday. The movie hits theaters October 18th, 2013.

Seems like it's really hard for them to be creative making posters for this movie.

Sissy Spacek was a very very pretty girl, but she did give off the 'wallflower', plain-Jane vibe that is essential for Carrie White.

As talented as Chloe Moretz is, I just don't see her as being a wallflower, she naturally has an 'edge' to her.
