New EVIL DEAD Green Band Trailer Offers Less Scares, But More New Footage

The official green band trailer for the Evil Dead remake has surfaced. Where as the red band trailer was full of gory images, the green band, which is for "all ages," is light on the scares, but makes up for it with some brand new footage. Hit the jump to check it out.

“In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”

The Evil Dead will be directed by Fede Alvarez. The film stars Jane Levy (Suburgatory) as Mia; Shiloh Fernandez (Deadgirl, Red Riding Hood) as David; Lou Taylor Pucci (Carriers) as Eric; Jessica Lucas (Cloverfield) as Olivia and Elizabeth Blackmore (Legend of the Seeker) as Natalie. The film will be released on April 12, 2013.

That gif gives me a boner, I cant help it. It shows an undead attacking a woman, but all I can see is two women kissing eachother. I know, its a forced kiss, but thats what makes it even hotter. I am a man, what can I do LOL!

Sorry but that look crap. If that girl at the start of the trailer talks like that for long ion the movie I hope I do "die tonight". Jesus, I had light hopes but it looks just like every other crappy remake. Too much production and too much money makes for a bad horror film IMO. Most of not all the classics were made for next to nothing and shitty on set conditions. The raw edge is what's been missing for years in horror movies and that's why there aren't any good ones made. I could be wrong but I've not seen anything good, horror wise, in a very, very long time.
