the ultimate laziness...using characters in public domain.

Looks like it could be interesting, however the title is crap. Tying this to any Frankenstein mythos is a major mistake. You can't slap some generic scars on an actors face and call it Monster. Also, "I,Frankenstein"? Are they trying to market to Apple and Asimov geeks?

This looks like Constatine2 or VanHelsing2.0

Better titles:
Gates of Hell
Angels of Death

I can't wait to see this on cable!

I thank the heavens Hollywood wasn´t able to destroy the "Foundation" series.

Don´t wanna see the planet Trantor buildings exploding in slow motion by Michael Bay.

So is Frankenstein even in this movie? Because Victor Frankenstein's Monster is certainly not named Frankenstein...
CuddlyCereal - 12/2/2013, 11:13 AM
And from the trailer it looks like that's what they call him :/
rabid - 12/2/2013, 11:21 AM
@Cuddly Cereal
Victor gave him the first name Adam and treated him like a son (at least for a while), so why is it farfetched that he took the family's name? He'd need one to get around in the world after Victor's death.
CuddlyCereal - 12/2/2013, 12:10 PM
Treated him like a son? Victor was scared as hell when his creation first came to life. Then when what was left of his family was murdered by the Monster he hated the shit out of him.

The film comes out in January.

Think that's all that needs to be said...

Frankenstein's Creature in a HOODIE? Are you KIDDING me? Good grief. This looks HORRIBLE! He doesn't even look like he was sewn together from the parts of dead people. NOBODY has gotten the look right, in any film, ever. Read the description of The Creature from the book:
"8-foot-tall (2.4 m), hideously ugly creation, with translucent yellowish skin pulled so taut over the body that it "barely disguised the workings of the arteries and muscles underneath"; watery, glowing eyes, flowing black hair, black lips, and prominent white teeth."

Secondly, the monster is not called Frankenstein! That's the Doctor's name! In the novel, the monster is only ever identified via words such as "creature", "monster", "fiend", "wretch", "devil", "vile insect", "daemon", "being", and "it"."

Wow, I just watched the trailer again. I can't believe how bad this looks. Like 'Van Helsing' times 1000.
